No she'll be holding out her paw immediately for welfare. Same old story, if you can't feed them, don't have them.
But you know the Catholics...

FTA "Everybody thinks fried food is bad for you but fish cooked in batter is very healthy because the batter prevents the fat getting into the fish - it is actually steamed."

That conjures up a whole exotic cheeseboard of possibilities.

Her owner Dee Farndell last night revealed battered cod was the secret behind the stunning baby boom - the biggest in her 35 years of breeding.

So, if I eat battered cod every day, I'm gonna have 16 Irish Setter pups? No thanks....

You have to either stop eating battered cod or stop farking Irish Setters. You don't have to stop both.

FTFA An Irish setter has had a record-breaking 16 pups - after wolfing down battered cod from the local chippy.

bwahaha, chippy=prostitute. Battered cod, indeed.

Anyone else notice that they misspelled "press" on the watermark in the second photo? You'd think they'd have a script to set the watermark on their to make things easier, but apparently not.

"I didn't know it had this effect on dogs, but it obviously proves the health benefits."

... no. No it doesn't. Nothing at all is proven by this except that in one single case, your dog didn't die from the lousy unbalanced diet you fed it.

"They have an acre field and they get at least an hour a day of solid running. They are extremely fit and this is why Kelly was able to have this many puppies without a Caesarean."

No. While it's true that very fat dogs have trouble whelping, this is irrelevant to your dog. She had that many puppies without a caesarean because when you have 16 puppies, they're really farking small compared to when you only have 5 or 6. That she's in shape didn't hurt, but isn't the primary reason either.

/hopes people take advice from their vets instead of fools quoted in news articles

Am I just twisted, or was anyone else's radar a bit tweaked at reading:

Mrs Farndell, 56, said: "I always say when the dogs are pregnant that what you put into the mother is what you get out in terms of quality."

Mother Nature expected that the pups would have a hard time surviving based on the diet of the mother so the biatch made extras.
