Outstanding! McCain is handed his ass on a platter by Romney and Huckleberry drops to 4th... Sweet.

Now if Ron Paul could just squeeze out those 100 votes to get McCain into third

If McCain is nominated, I'll vote for Obama.

At least Obama admits he's a democrat.

Kinda had a sense of humor about McCain until he starts talking about occupying Iraq for 100 more years with "more wars my friends" thrown in as a perk.

The guy's a brain damaged war horse who inspires enough revulsion in me now 'til I can't even focus on my distaste for Mitt.

solution: Obama

WTF is Maine thinking? I thought THOSE PEOPLE were better at this kinda thing. Get it right -- McCain all the way, even in Retardville, Maine.

Remember that in November, RETARDVILLE. That was RETARDVILLE, (not MN, not MA) ME.

Mitt Romney is a bordeline-retarded lying son of a biatch. I love the answer when he was asked why none of his disgusting flock of idiot children were in Iraq serving their country: Mitt said that they were serving their country best by helping him get elected. That is a finger in the eye of every American serving in Iraq or with a loved on serving.

And that story about putting his dog in the cage on the roof of the car for a 12 hour drive is also an indication of the kind of idiot this disgusting pampered pussy is too. The dog- sick with terror, probably- shiat all over the car roof and back window, so Mitt and sons had to pull over at a gas station and hose the shiat off of the car, and hose the dog down before loading the dog back into the roof-cage to complete the trip. For the next hour or so, the dog was not only terrified and caged, but soaking wet- like being in Guantanamo for animals. When asked about it recently, Mitt sounded just like our current retarded, pampered rich boy president,
Romney dismissed his critics by saying "They're not happy that my dog loves fresh air."

What an ape. He's also said to have spent about sixty million dollars of HIS OWN MONEY to be elected. Makes me wonder what his real reason for wanting this so much might be. Another apocalyptic Christer, this time Mormon flavored?

Barack Obama is starting to look like the only choice for either party.

Well, Repubs, you had a nice run there for a while. Why don't you take some time off for the next four years and we'll see if we can get things back in some semblence of order, and you can try again in 2012.

Any journalism students want to tell me if this counts as bias?

Besides Paul, who visited Maine on Monday, Romney was the only candidate to show up or send a surrogate to campaign as the caucuses drew close.

Instead of saying "Romney and Paul were the only two," they effectively say "Other than Paul (who doesn't count), Romney was the only candidate who.."

By saying "Besides Paul," it seems they're putting him beneath Romney, which really shouldn't be the job of journalists.

The problem is that's a single beat off from the tune. You need 10 syllables/beats.

Now if Barack Obama wins the Maine caucus for Democrats (on February 10th), we can get the headline:

"The gain in Maine falls mainly on Hussein"

/Because that's his middle name, of course -- Barack HITLER HUSSEIN STALIN Osama!

It's not the journalists doing that, it's the voters. :-)

Finally, somebody with some sense is starting to do well. Still, I've stocked up on plenty of canned food, water and ammunition to last through the next four years, just in case Obama or McCain win in November. May also consider buying more guns before they are outlawed to sell later on in an attempt to pay for the tax increases required to wipe the ass of every lazy wellfare biatch out there who will be getting free health insurance and housing, care of the 65% of my paycheck that goes to taxes.

Heh. That reminds me of when I was in college, in the run-up to the 1992 Democratic nomination. My roommate was a hardcore lefty, and he asked me which of the candidates I liked the best. I told him that I liked Clinton the best, and he said "of course you do, he's a Republican."

Good times.

GratuityIncluded: Take a breath, this was an unbinding caucus, meaning 1 very few showed up, 2 the Mormons showed up in buses just to vote in something meaningless.

Read up on the rules, the real caucus isn't until May, this Caucus is just for show as was timed to get media and candidate appearances which wouldn't have happened with a may caucus.

You know what is REALLY funny about all this. States moved their caucuses up to get media attention, few of the Feb 5th States can get much attention as its simply too many States at the same time. IF we end up with no clear winner, post Feb 5th states will get MORE attention than any of the states so far. :)

I guess it's progress that a black man is less persecuted than a Mormon, but there's obviously room for more progress.

Mormons are good people. They have a way of life that makes them happy, and even ex-mormons I know are generally somewhat nostalgic. I find their views a bit ridiculous and silly, but you can find odd stuff in more religions. Romney is infinitely less weird in this family and sexual life than the Clinton couple, Mccain, and many others.

On abortion:

MR. RUSSERT: I want to take abortion first. I participated in your debate in 2002 when you ran for governor of Massachusetts. I asked you about that issue, and this was your response. Let's watch.

(Videotape) GOV. ROMNEY: My position has been the same throughout my political career, and it goes back to the days of 1970. There was a woman who was running for political office, U.S. Senate. She took a very bold and courageous stand in 1970, and that was in a conservative state. That was that a woman should have the right to make her own choice as to whether or not to have an abortion. Her name was Lenore Romney, she was my mom. I will preserve and protect a woman's right to choose and am devoted and dedicated to honoring my word in that regard. (End videotape)

MR. RUSSERT: "Devoted and dedicated" to honoring your word. When you ran for the Senate against Ted Kennedy, you were asked the same question. This was your response.

(Videotape) GOV. ROMNEY: Many, many years ago I had a dear close family relative that was very close to me who passed away from an illegal abortion. It is since that time my mother and my family have been committed to the belief that we can believe as we want, but we will not force our beliefs on others on that matter.

Offscreen Voice: Thank you, Mr...

GOV. ROMNEY: And you will not see me wavering on that. (End videotape)

MR. RUSSERT: You--will not see you wavering on that issue. You now have said you support the 2004 Republican Party platform, which says this: "We say the unborn child has a fundamental individual right to life which cannot be infringed. We" suggest "a human life amendment to the Constitution." Such amendment would ban abortions all across the country. Why such a dramatic and profound change after pledging never to waiver on a woman's right to choose?
