The UK shouldn't recognize laws that contradict its own. Legalize polygyny AND polyandry in Britain, or force those immigrants to annul all or all but one marriage. Dont' like it? Don't move to the UK.


If you're going to allow polygyny, you have to allow polyandry. Frankly, I don't see what's wrong with either. People should be able to make their own choices when it comes to partners (provided they are consenual...consention...consented to by all spouses).

Frankly, European countries bend over backwards for the cultures of immigrants, even allowing spousal abuse (granted the judge was removed, but still...) and and are still despised by many of these immigrants. It sucks.
