now that has got to hurt. And the money and system that backs that org is going to really help Obama. Not that in the end of the day that matters. You can not stop the sun from raising. And you cant stop Hillary

Living up to their name, at least - the Clinton/Bush years are over.

Move On.

Clearly if anyone has a chance at "stopping the sun from raising," as you so eloquently put it, Obama does.

This probably would have meant more if it happened a month ago. Super Tuesday is in four days.

The Candyman can? Sorry but it's all worked out. The only variable is if she will need Ron Paul's help or not. If McCain gets the nod then she will not. She would need Ron Paul to run as an independent to beat Mitt.

At least when Republicans are bought & paid for, they have the courtesy to stay bought.

Thinking for themselves... I fear for what this world has in store.

This weekend is when the calls start. Phone banks will crank up and precinct walkers will fan out, and advertising will intensify. On Election Day, the real work will start, and all the GOTV efforts will focus on getting people to the polls as the substantial amount of undecideds make their call.

A hell of a lot can happen in four days.

We are talking about the same machine that took an Arkansas hayseed and defeated a popular war-winning President. Is it so hard to believe that they cant take out this rookie? I would have to say that of all the Presidential Candidates (both sides) Obama would be my pick for a bar buddy. However the poor guy is just gaining speed before he hits the wall.

The only guy I wanted to vote for is already out of the race.

Actually MoveOn.org sent e-mails to all of its members to vote for who the group would throw it support behind. I voted for Barack along with a million or so other MoveOn members.

I never woke up so quickly as I did when I checked Gmail on my cellphone the other day and saw the email from MoveOn.

This is big, big news. So's the SEIU endorsement that's apparently coming for Obama today.

Things are looking up.

Oh, and if you didn't catch the end of the debate thread last night:

Donate to Barack Obama's campaign and I'll send you a postcard from Tokyo, Japan.

I will also send postcards if you contribute to keithgabryelski's fundraiser (located here), which you may want to go with instead of mine since he's matching all donations to his. Just forward me a copy of your confirmation email along with your address (myfarkname at gmail dot com)

I'm not a member of MoveOn, but I saw that yesterday about them polling their members.

It's another sign of how actual democratic party supports (read: individual PEOPLE) have a radically different view of the party than the corporatists who are trying to get Hillary in place.

MoveOn.org kicked the Clintons to the curb for not embracing their "surrender first" policy for Iraq.

Fortunately for Clinton, she still has MediaMatters to apologize for her...

Between this, Ted Kennedy and John Kerry... Obama just doesn't seem to have much luck when it comes to endorsements, does he?

Another endorsement, and most likely bigger than MoveOn.org, the California SEIU has switched from Edwards to Obama. That union has over 600,000 members and has reputation which makes them a highly sought ally for GOTV campaigns on election day.

They're not all-or-nothing states, so they're splitting votes everywhere. Two weeks ago he was only leading in Illinois. There's still 20+ states to go after Super Tuesday; and B Hussein has the money to do it (he raised over $30 million last month alone).

Don't be so sure. You might see an upset in NY and/or NJ, MO. Not to mention he will still get a lot of delegates in CA.

The only morans would be anyone who didn't know Bill Clinton was the clinton implied in the title.

Hillary was never impeached.

Given the very large endorsement Obama's geting from the SEIU California may not stay in the Clinton side for too long.

Things are very fluid right now, so anything could happen.

I'm glad to be one of those MoveOn members that voted to support Obama. I'm a registered independent in Colorado, so I have no say on Tuesday. I still have major issues with the Democratic party, but I love me some Barack Obama.

It is a good thing.
No one is going to follow this story or care who MoveOn endorses.

Obama gets no votes because of this.

HOWEVER, he will get a lot more money and more groundwork/foot soldier work done on his behalf, which could help a lot.

Not necessarily. You must keep in mind, the DNC awards delegates proportionately, not winner-take-all. Even in states where Hillary is winning, if the race is close enough, it doesn't matter that much.

Now, Superdelegates, on the other hand...

No, I still think you don't know how it works.

Unless it changes with only 2 candidates, normally if you get over 30% you SPLIT the delegates for a district.

So if district X has 4 delegates and the vote goes Hillary 60, Obama 40.... they both get two delegates. (If it was 5, Hillary gets the extra one).

So Hillary can win a state by 5 or 10 points, but still come out will the same number of delegates.
