From the other thread:

McCain is very superstitious. He carries little talismans - lucky charms not the cereal around with him all the time and if he forgets he freaks out. Really.

and here I thought the article was going to be about Ron Paul

Too bad we can't get young, hot, blond McCain to run for preznit, dammit. That'd make a difference!
/facepalm
//he was hot, though

McCain's unseen adversary is his age, and not that weird alien growth on the side of his face

Well duh, he can't see his age. He can see his own tumor, like you can see your own nose.

Bob Dole says you're screwed John McCain.

This is a stupid premise. Even TFA notes that Reagan was able to disarm that issue with his great line, "I'm not going to exploit for political purposes my opponent's youth and inexperience," after being repeatedly attacked by Mondale for being a geezer. And now, over two decades later, the Boomers are getting up in years, and his age won't be an issue for him.

/not a McCain fan
//not a Reagan fan
///just pointing out the stupidity of the article

Well, I think a lot of whether or not this will be an issue depends on who he taps for the Veep spot. If, for example, he picks 9ui11iani, I can see as how it might. There's no way I could vote for a man that age with Rudy waiting in the wings. Not even against Hillary.

Coupla things here.

First, it's not his age. It's the fact that he's a disingenuous madman and a warmonger that I'd worry about first.

Second, Ronald Reagan was a brain dead meat puppet before the end of his first term. People w/o ALS remember this fact.

/If it does come down to McCain v. Hillary?
//Will their debates have scheduled nap times in the middle of them?
///If not, when will their Depends get changed?
