Interesting bit of trivia on Bruce: he wrote a pretty respectable biography on Bruce Lee in the mid-90's.

Never forget seeing Costello live in a dingy club (Hot Club-Philly-'78) packed with people. One asshat (flannel shirt Freebird fan) started insulting Costello between songs. Halfway through the second or third song Costello stopped the band, took off his guitar and proceeded to confront said asshat and pummeled him to the ground. After a few seconds of stunned silence, the bouncer ejected the asshat, the crowd roared and the show went on.
