Well. Glad that's settled, then.

Between him and Hulk Hogan, Obama has some SERIOUS star power backing him.

PainInTheASP [TotalFark] 2008-01-31 05:13:40 PM
Maybe so, but could he kick Chuck Norris's ass?

All the whitest guys love Obama.

It's all over but the shouting, now.

BigDumbGuy 2008-01-31 05:23:53 PM
That does it. I am now not voting for Barack because Wil was mean to me on Fark after I pointed out that his greenlit thread was a dupe of my greenlit thread. That and because I told Obama to his face I would not support him. That was kind of rude as I was at a private party at his house drinking his booze and eating his food.

vonu 2008-01-31 05:31:07 PM
Is it just me, or are their more celebrity endorsements this time around than before?

No offense to Wil, but who the hell cares what Hogan, Norris, Ahnuld, or any other celeb has to say about a candidate?

Part of me wants to think that he then turned the party out, sayin', "this is MY muthafarkin house, and y'all gots to go, through the do'."

But the rest of me wants to believe that he was a nice guy and shrugged it off.

Well, he did endorse Worf in 2000:

I wish the first idea of yours was true as it would have made a better story, but he was nice about it, asking me what my reasons were, etc.

Hey Wheaton... why don't you move to North Korea and take that commie prick Obama with you? Leave those of us who want freedom alone.

Wow, I would have thought Tancredo would have been Wheaton's original choice. I guess with him out the running...

In all seriousness, how can a sci-fi dude like Wheaton endorse an anti-space program guy like Obama?

Sure, there are many other issues, but Obama has made it clear that he doesn't think the space program is important and would cut funding from it to be diverted to... um... as I can't recall, let's make something up and abortion vouchers for schoolkids.

5000_gallons_of_toothpaste 2008-01-31 06:58:15 PM
I refuse to make a choice until I hear from Cory Feldman.

PainInTheASP: Maybe so, but could he kick Chuck Norris's ass?

Wil Wheaton once rolled a natural twenty on a d12.

Every time you drink a Mountain Dew, Wil Wheaton gets half the caffeine.

Wil Wheaton snorted three pounds of coke mixed with the ashes of Gene Roddenberry...IN SPACE

Wil, serious question: Why?

I'm not critisizing your choice by any means, but I'd like to hear your reasoning behind it.

Wil Wheaton is beyond the mere faculty of reasoning.

When Morgius the Prescient, perched atop the Peaks of Despair, drew the Owlbear card from the Deck of Many Things in the Temple of the Everliving Fury at the height of the War of 10,000 Gods in the dim mists of the far past, this decision was cast.

Yea, that post was pretty goddamn vague though. Hope is a nice feeling, but what about Barack gives him that hope? Why does he feel inspired listening to Obama?

I'm asking because I want to know what kind of thought Wil's put into his choice.

eqtworld: All he has to do is say hi, and the whole thing turns into 50 people wanting to know if he farked Gates McFadden.

Well, that's a pressing concern to me as well, but first things first.
