If this was live and not lip-synch, where was the chick they stabbed in the middle for the scram?

/I'm calling lip-synchigans without a stabbing.

I miss old funk and pop-locking. Bring back Cameo, Fatback, Tom Browne, Parliment, etc! Nothing like REAL MUSICIANSHIP!!

//Yeah, today's computerized button-pushing stuff is all crap

When my daughters were a few years younger I used to play this song and they would dance around the house.

Hehe. I had that 45 way back when, and I remember hearing that rumor. Luckily, my band director at the time knew a little about recording, and he told me there was absolutely no way that scream wasn't noticed.

Caught them at a music festival a few years ago. The lead singer was completely blitzed, and just wandered around the stage muttering periodically through the whole set. Eventually, they just turned his mike off. Fortunately, the least essential member of the Ohio Players is the lead singer.

Ha, watch the white girl trying to dance up front next to the stage. Crazy no-butt-having crackers...

No, since you are a cracker it means it IS ok for you to make fun of them.

Since I have a little Jew in me (that makes me JewISH) I can make fun of the naggers! See how it works?

Are there any serious contemporary Funk Bands out there, outside the Brand New Heavies ? (Who are kind of Acid Jazzish, by the Way)

/Looking for New Stuff.
