Bah, I was visiting family in this town in Holland once and in the pubs over by the pool table they have these giant logs and you can buy nails from the bartender and rent hammers and bang these giant nails into a giant block of wood.

That has got to be almost as fun as watching this site. They really know how to party in Lelystad.

It seems to be kind of like in the US when you are in a bar with dartboards. You rent the darts from the bartender and throw darts at the board while drinking.

Only in this case, you rent the hammer instead of darts. The nails you have to purchase, then you bang the nails into the giant block of wood.

I thought they were just winding me up at first. I still don't really understand it.
