Wow--without music, he just sounds crazy. Sounds like one of those American Idol people who has to be escorted out by security.

Fark U: "bbbbbbut vocalists ARE musicians???"

Singers sing. Vocalists use microphones.

Cheesy as the guy is, it's still my goal in life to be able to do that octave screech thing.

Funny thing is DLR was pretty much just copying Little Richard. he is a huge Little Richard fan, as odd as that may sound to some people.

Kinda reminds me of Eddie Murphy doing James Brown...

Now that you say it i can see the similarities. They have a real similar style. And a very high opinion of their place in rock and roll history, DLR not quiet as much. I think i heard Little Richard claim he invented rock n roll one time. I wasnt around, and Richard is really old, but i dont think it was him.

There's the old story about how when Dave was a little kid he got a radio and listened to nothing but soul, Motown and some early rock stuff. Which explains how he got to liking Little Richard so much and how Van Halen ended up covering what was originally a soul song and a Motown song.

The squeals and screams are so much cooler without the music.

this was better the first time, cause we had a chance to guess what we were listening to.

/I didn't recognize it until the actual lyrics started.

Open the Meshuggah clip and this one, start this one about two seconds after the Meshuggah clip. It's AWESOME.

I'm sorry, start it 22 seconds after.

They were playing this on Howard Stern the other day. I was hoping they'd do a funny prank call with it, but instead that redneck retard Richard Christy wound up playing it to the instrumental to some other song. Pretty lame. But the isolated vocals are hilarious.

It's not perfect (when the actual lyrics are being sung mostly) but holy crap, I'm rofling here. Talk about Rockso.

This was awesome when it hit the Video page on Friday. Today, it's funny but not as funny as it was when it was greenlighted on Friday.

What a disappointment for me. According to Navy lore, that line was "God damn the Navy and all you lifers;" and I've believed it for years.
