(Starpulse) Unlikely Jimmy Page teases us once again, says he's ready for a reunion tour -- but it won't be until after Zeptember, meaning there's plenty of time for lots more "yes, we are" and "no, we're not" stories   (starpulse.com) divider line 22

I'm actually glad of this. I was dreading having to go to that nightmare Bonnaroo to see them.

Well, they'd make a whole lotta dough. I'd worry about getting trampled underfoot trying to get tickets. And I'd bet the price has increased more than a dollar more.

But Zeptember is followed by Rocktober, unless they wait until Jammuary.

I'm not teased.

I have absolutely not an inkling of a desire to see this crap.

And I love Zeppelin.

They should keep releasing DVDs of old shows and not do this. The DVDs are enjoyable.

What I wanna know is when they're releasing the Reunion show on DVD.

I read they're releasing the DVD late next year. There will probably be an album and some other compilation to buy, too, all to coincide with the Christmas shopping season and tour. They are now waiting for Plant to finish up with Krauss this summer, preparing to rehearse in the fall, and world tour begins in Nov/Dec. Page has probably convinced Plant that this may be the last opportunity to this before Page, 64, is too old to stand up and play a rock show. I don't see how Plant will have the voice to carry out more than a few months' worth of shows - but then again I don't think anybody'll really care. Personally, I am psyched - if they are breaking out goodies like FYL then other surprises are in store. I hope!

/my speculation and a dollar will buy you a candy bar.

Again: if they perform within 500 miles of where I live, my son will have to fund his college career by himself.

Robert Plant won't do it. He has said so many times.

He's open to doing a few shows, but no tour. Just like the David Gilmour situation with Pink Floyd.

I don't blame Plant. Some things are best left alone. Page is old and fragile anyway. He wouldn't make it through a tour without turning in some shiatty shows. Hell, he was that way 30 years ago.

I too would like to see more releases from the Zep vault. They're still sitting on a bunch of live stuff.

i would likely pay to see a show. I agree that releasing older material is the way to go. how the west was won is awsome.

September? It's going to take them that long to get Zombie Bonzo back in shape for a tour?

Great, that means they'll charge hundreds of dollars for tickets to see them play the same tired old songs classic rock radio has beated to death!

Super...

/who cares!

Swell, another geriatric pedophile with a guitar is here to charge $250.00 to see a show that was tired 30 years ago.

/old and in the way

We need Roy Harper to get them together so we can say hats off!

Yes, like all of them.

As a guy who is a big fan of Zeppelin's music during their heyday, I don't care either way. It's not like:

a) I would actually be able to afford to see them.
b) I don't know as I'd want to anyway.

I'd rather pop on the terrific sounding DVD of their shows from the 2 disc set & watch them when they were truly kickass, from the comfort of my couch.

This communication breakdown between them and the media is making me dazed and confused. If they don't tour, it'll be a real heartbreaker. But when the levee breaks, I'll go see them. It'll be good time, bad times. Unless they're going to California. or Kashmir.

/led zeppelin song
