I really have to figure out how to become one of those series of shadowy "intermediaries" out to profit from the illegal business.

Sounds like a pretty cool gig.

I believe sci-fi writer Larry Niven predicted this when he wrote about the rise of "organleggers" in his N-Space series. Where there is demand but not supply, a black market will always form. Sad but true.

If that were true there would be a black market for politicians.

They should just let people sell their body parts. Why not? there could be stipulation like, if you sell a piece of your liver, then drink yourself half to death and can't afford medical care only comfort care will be provided until you die.

I also would like to sell my body to science, but profit now.

There is. You just usually have to be a big company to buy a politician.

yup, niven predicted this

"Where there is demand but not supply, a black market will always form."
EVEN MORE SHOCKING!!!!
NOT

"The Indian government introduced a law to ban the trade in human organs more than a decade ago. However many critics say that the move simply drove the practice underground."
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH HAHHAHAHAHHA
what did they EXPECT TO HAPPEN???
LAWS like this should have AUTOMATIC repeals attached to them
if a black market springs up, the law becomes null and void

/SICK and tired of the government interfering with free trade
/drugs, gambling, prostitution, organs,

of course, the SIMPLEST way to solve the dearth of organs is to harvest organs from dead people - ALL of them, not just the ones that said it was "ok"
"why does your body have rights after you are dead?"

and the religion and family arguement are not all that interesting

You have that backwards. In the case of politicians, there is supply, but not demand.

I converted that to a ringtone.

"Charlie. . .Charlie. . .Charlie-e-e. . Charl-"
"I'm right here! What do you want?!"
"We're on a bridge, Charlie!"
