That's ok, she's apparently pretty good at asking Hispanics to clean up for her.

All the money he'll save on healthcare when she's president will more tha n make up for it. Wait, he's probably fairly well off. It'll probably cost him more.

I am sure that the bathroom was not too bad. Hillary atleast lifted the toilet seat to go the bathroom like all the other guys?

1: they left a mess.
2: he asked for them to pay to clean it up.
3: they paid him

Why is this interesting?

Heh...remember the stories about Clinton's staff vandalizing the White House before leaving it for Bush? Same thing I suppose; white trash from Arkansas, what can you expect?

To be fair, it is the democrats turn to loot the coffers. What's a little extra clean-up?

TFA: "He said a smoke alarm in one of the offices was missing and he noticed the windows in the building were sometimes open even on cold days, leading him to believe the campaign staffers were smoking in the building, which is not permitted."

I'll believe a lot about the Clintons and the campaign, but I'm not ready to believe that anybody in the campaign above the level of Volunteer 4th Class sanctioned smoking inside one of her offices. I'm led to believe that Sen. Clinton is insane about that sort of stuff and if she ever just happened to visit the office (not an unlikely occurrence anywhere in Iowa) she'd notice the smoke smell in a second and go ballistic.

This was my favorite line:

Ray Fredericksen of Clinton, who served as the Clinton County chairman for the Clinton campaign

Otherwise - I can't stand Clinton (either of them), so I'm always happy to see a negative story.

Her staff will be getting patronage jobs if she's elected. You know those mid-level FEMA farkups everybody complains about? Those kind of people, only with a D next to their names this time.

I would take the McCain/Powell ticket. As a Republican, I might otherwise vote for Obama if unhappy with my own party nominee (i.e. - Romney). But not if Edwards was on the ticket.

How dare you introduce reality into the lives of "true believers?"

That they were true must be irrelevant.

As I recall the "investigation" concluded that none of the "porn bomb"-levels of vandalism were true and that the only notable damage was typical wear-and-tear from using offices over the course of nearly a decade.

I'd be interested in seeing any links you have that might suggest otherwise, preferably from someplace a little less biased than Drudge or Fox.

Meh, just reality and its liberal bias. The Right(?) doesn't need facts, just repeat the assertion until it becomes common belief.

I know Obama has been advocating nonpartisanship but would he really? It'd be one hell of a surprise if he named a non-Democratic running mate.

when bush was appointed president he had similar complaints. he cried about it so much the GAO investigated. it almost goes without saying that they concluded the allegations were false.

I doubt it. I just finished Powell's autobiography, so I like the guy at the moment. It would have been a lot more interesting if it had been written after his time as Secretary of State. I really want a good explanation of the U.N. Iraq speech from him. Everything I have read about him makes me think that he could still provide some leadership to the country. But, he needs to somehow purify himself of the stench of the current administration.

That is the thing with Powell. He is a good soldier and you are never going to hear him publicly talking about the puppet show he was forced to put on at the UN.

One can only assume that folks who think Powell will be on any ticket haven't read a newspaper since 1998 or thereabouts. His wife won't let him run - she's an agoraphobic.
