I will not vote for Senator Clinton. All of the uncommitted (R) & (D)and independent voters I have talked to say the same thing.

Lord of Allusions [TotalFark] 2008-01-25 03:26:42 PM
I'm certainly no Hillary fan, but it's been pretty much assumed that whoever wins the nomination is going to ask that those delegates be seated, whether it's her or Obama.

After defying Democratic Party rules

It was my understanding that it was the state parties themselves that defied the rules, not the candidate(s).

Hank Chinaski 2008-01-25 03:28:42 PM
Wait Michigan? Where she ran against Kucinich and Uncommitted took like 33%? I can't believe anybody actually supports Clinton. She is the epitome of what's wrong with American politics.

I'll take Obama if he gets the nod, or I'll take whoever is running against Billary.

Tyee 2008-01-25 03:29:44 PM
I really don't understand what anyone finds appealing in this biatch.

wax_on 2008-01-25 03:29:54 PM
Not going to vote for that woman. She is full of dirty tricks and that's really not what our country needs right now. Besides which, she's a extremely divisive figure. All we'll get is 4 or 8 more years of partisan bickering and infighting with her at the helm. Really not the direction the country needs to be heading in.

She defied party rules by campaigning in a state that had no delegates.

If she gets those delegates, I will riot in the streets.

Well, maybe not.

If she gets those delegates, I will think about writing a letter to the editor but forget to do it and wind up biatching about it on Fark instead.

True, but I think what subby is referring to was the pledge the candidates signed saying they wouldn't campaign in the "rogue" states because of their defiance.

Yes she is a woman on a mission ... and oh yea .... she wants to help the country/poor/world no matter how many laws/rules she has to break to do it. Only she can help this pathetic world. I AM THE HIILINATOR!

// I hope that people can see through her. If not we are all doomed.

SnoreCriminal 2008-01-25 03:36:32 PM
Everyday she goes higher on my list of "Would not vote for"; previously the #1 spot was held by Ron Paul, now its Hillary. So in order its:

I would vote for any body but....

1. Hillary
2. Ron Paul
3. Huckabee
4. Mike Gravel
5. Rudy

The remaining candidates... well I think at this point I'd prefer the race to be between McCain and Obama; either one is basically a win as far as I am concerned.

Alternately, what I think wold be full of win and awesome would be for Hillary to do more evil bullshiat like this and win, only to have Obama cross party lines and endorse McCain - who then makes Obama his running mate as VP.

Unfortunately the way the Obama campaign seems to be blowing up from the inside out, it's looking more and more like she'll get the nod. I so hope not.

I don't know why you're all so afraid of the woman getting elected.

Will she not only capitalize on the executive overstepping of the Bush administration but will undoubtedly go further? Absolutely?

But we can either hope the next president has a sense of decency to roll back what has been done OR we can let the attack dogs loose on the biatch and her slimy Arkansas hick of a husband. People will go to jail. They may not be the one's we want now but I think its a damn good strategy to bring the Presidential powers back into line with how they we're set up. Am I wrong?

I have my Democratic Primary sample ballot right here. It's nothing like the deal in Michigan where the only choices were Clinton or Undecided.

All of the current and former candidates are on it.

It would mean they would be allowed to join in the convention fun times. That's all it means. She's not asking for their votes to make a difference in the election, just that they get to shout out who they chose at the convention. There's enough to complain about Hillary without making stuff up.

"It was my understanding that it was the state parties themselves that defied the rules, not the candidate(s)."

Actually, here in Florida, it was our GOP-led Legislature that defied the DNC rules AND the GOP rules by moving the primary...but you don't hear the GOP stripping THEIR delegates for defying their rules. Because they've never cared what the law was, of course.

They should be seated and probably will be, no matter who wins the nomination.

Hillary: I am a dire world, prey-stalking, lethal prowler.

Obama: I am a world, space-floating, life nurturing.

Obama: I am the Universe -- all things encompassing, all life embracing.

Hillary: I am Anti-Life, the Beast of Judgement. I am the dark at the end of everything. The end of universes, gods, worlds... of everything. Sss. And what will you be then, Dreamlord?

Yea, Obama & Edwards couldn't even be voted on in those states. They have absolutely nothing to gain other than losing ground to Clinton by asking for them to be added to the convention.
