So someone who has previously staged a coup, dissolved a duly elected government, fired judges who didn't agree with him, very well might have had rivals assassinated, and has delayed elections at a whim is saying, "They'll be fair. Trust me."?

Color me unconvinced.

That's tough talk from a guy to a country that is in control of the big red button on their nuclear stockpile.

Pakistan has been a disaster since 1947, continually embarassing itself from within and from without. They dress up in pretty military suits then get their asses handed to them in East Pakistan by half fed Indian conscripts.
