I remember seeing her in a short-lived sitcom on NBC a few years ago, playing somebody's mother. I hadn't seen her in anything for years. It was a shock, at first. Then, somehow, her character just... grew on me. I didn't even LIKE the character - I don't think you were supposed to, actually. But it didn't matter what she did, you couldn't not appreciate Suzanne Pleshette.

I think, along with Carol Burnett, she pretty much sums up my 70's TV crushes.

She had a sexy voice, although I guess that's where the lung cancer came from, as well.

On a side note, it's nice to see that Finklestein kid get a good job after getting shipped off to military school.
