He learned it by ear. Very impressive.

That kid can play in my elevator any day!

One of my friends in high school did this back in about '93 for a show and his version was much better.

Of course he is one of those farks with absolute pitch that can play anything by ear after listening once. God I hate that guy.

That was really good. Nice job, kid.

Watch out though, Lars will sue when he finds out about this.

You know you're old when the music of your youth becomes elevator music.

This guy did an excellent job.

Agreed. "Kids" running around yelling "Metallica sucks" haven't heard anything more than a few years old. They created a metal niche that has been left unfilled.

SWEEEEEEEEEEET

This was always a sad song, but on a piano, it is a very moving funeral dirge. The fast part doesn't quite work on piano, though.

And what do you like now that you are old.. Willie Nelson?

mikeandeichmann 2008-01-21 10:53:52 AM
Even though he left the second part of the solo, that was still badass. What the hell happened to Metallica? (remembers Enter Sandman) Oh yeah...that's right.

he missed a lot of notes throughout as well, and fudged up his timing in some parts... but overall that was pretty talented
