Got nothing but love for Foghat, but they sucked live. Instrumentally, they rocked, but the late great Lonesome Dave Preverett cracked like a $20 whore every show I saw them (back in the 70's).

This is coming a little too late for me. I'm old, I'm kinda lame, and I'm chained to cubicle all day.

Really? I only saw them once, '81 I think. The only bummer was Rod Price wasn't in the band at that point. Other than that, they were great.

My brother rocked the Triumph constantly in the early 80s.

i love triumph. fight the good fight. used to crank it on my box in the 4th and 5th grade. 81'ish.

I remember seeing them in like '84. I kind of remember, I smoked more weed that night than ever before or since.

Triumph did the bigass arena lights and pyro show. That's what most that remember them, remember them for.

Just a Game and Allied Forces are my fav records of theirs.

Saw them a couple times in the early 80's, and they were great shows. I would go see them if they played around here. I don't expect the big production they used to have, though. I would like to hear them play and hear how they sound after all this time.

I saw them at the US Festival in 1983. They were pretty good. I hooked up with a French Canadian girl there. She told me I had a Petit Etude.

I fondly recall the Triumph Pepsi commercial that aired in Canada in support of their Thunder Seven tour. Not sure what song they used, but it was good.

I also fondly recall seeing Mike Levine on 'Wheel of Fortune' about 10 years ago.

Pat: "So, what do you do Mike?"
Mike: "I'm a musician in a Canadian band."
Pat: "Oh, yeah, what are you called?"
Mike: "Triumph."
Pat: "Well, good luck with that."

I've always been surprised Triumph never did a twinbill tour with Rush.

Good band, even though they sounded like Rush-LITE in their "A Farewell to Kings" days.

Rik is the most underrated guitarist on the planet. Good for them! I hope they get to the US sometime.
