In Paulistinian this means: RON PAUL WINS!!

Car_Ramrod 2008-01-17 02:45:06 PM
Well the Lima Beans were allowed to participate in the debates; of course they're going to poll better! But the Bean Backers are not as committed to their candidate as the Paul Pods, and that will show in the actual voting results. Also, polls are meaningless.

/vegetables not mentioned in the constitution

Mordis 2008-01-17 02:47:01 PM
I predict 7% of the vote.

Hmm....isn't this calling someone out in a headline? (But still, she'd have my vote.)

Go Go Chinchilla!: Is subby supposed to be naming users in headlines?

She's better than any of the official candidates, IMHO.

Obviously fake, as everone in South Carolina calls them "butter beans"...

The Third Man 2008-01-17 03:01:15 PM
Alan Keyes! Exactly the guy you want running against Obama. Maybe he'll do better than 11% of the vote this time around.

Downbound 2008-01-17 03:01:42 PM
ROFL, worse than Keyes?? wow.

But seriously, Ron Paul will end up getting more votes than he polls for. . . I mean, who would to admit they're voting for Ron Paul????

/not registerd with reps. can't vote fer em
//wouldn't if I could

If Ron Paul beats this guy, South Carolina should be ashamed.

I'm smelling a bad sampling. No way 9/11 is suddenly getting 4x the votes of Ron (insert mental disorder here) Paul

jake_lex [TotalFark] 2008-01-17 03:03:36 PM
Obviously, this is because the pollsters do not call people without land lines.

/real Paulite excuse for how bad he's getting his ass kicked

madcow66 2008-01-17 03:03:38 PM
It's because of Lima Beans attack ads claiming Ron Paul belongs to an inferior food group.

I'm not a Paulistinian but there is no way Keyes will get more votes than Paul. The latest Rasmussen poll has Paul at 5% (2% ahead of Mr. 9/11)

This doesn't seem like it's accurate. With the results from other states keeping Paul at least above 5%, it seems pretty unlikely he'll suddenly get a poorer showing. I don't plan on him winning the state, but getting 1% is underestimating him.

Snarfangel [TotalFark] 2008-01-17 03:13:41 PM
One nice thing about Ron Paul is that you can generate a heated argument whenever he's in a story. Put up a story about Romney, and you get a thread like.

"GAH! Romney is like a used car salesman, without the morals!"
"You have a point there."
"I agree."
*crickets*
"So...want to talk about Ron Paul?"

quatchi 2008-01-17 03:13:50 PM
The GOPhers are still auditioning fer tallest midget in the room?

Seepy now.

Does your mom know you are posting on the internet?

I'm a South Carolina atheist and I'm looking forward to voting for the least objectionable republican on Saturday. Rest assured it will be one who believes in evolution.

Magorn 2008-01-17 03:58:02 PM
From the analysis I've read most pollsters ascribe McCain's commanding lead to the fact that among likely voters
"fathering an inter-racial love child" and
"having an affair with your black housekeeper" have slipped to 5&6th place behind The war, the Economy, Taxes, Immigration, and Boll-weevil Supression as issues SC voters most care about.

RCP averages have Paul 0.5% ahead of 9/11, but there really haven't been too many polls to average
