Er... front"R"unner. There's an awkward Freudian slip.

FTA: a wrench-like metal tool.

You mean a wrench? What other tools are wrench-like?

aenea: Broken9754: Well, technically he shoved a wrench up his ass.

And that doesn't count as rape to you?

Not the good kind, anyway.

Technically, yes. But it implies that the raper is doing it for his own sexual satisfaction which adds several extra layers of wrong to this story.

A rape for a rape makes the whole world walk funny.

Of course it does, but the context is different.

Not that I agree with what the Step-Dad did, but maybe, just maybe, someone else won't get raped in the future because of this.

/Who else thinks the Step-Dad will do more time than the Son?

Right. Both are wrong, but the levels of "weird" are different.

They need to allow the criminal justice system to work for them

Is "he needed raping" considered a valid defense in Texas?

No. And unfortunately for him, neither is "but I really wanted to!"

No, or else there'd be a legal defense for homosexuality in Texas.

The guy does have a pretty serious criminal record, and that will probably contribute to his sentence.... Plus, his actions may lead the court to be more lenient with the son. Especially if they're determined to be pre-meditated, which they appear to be.

I wonder what the wife thinks, and why she posted bail, knowing her husband was extremely pissed off and has a history of violence. Kid was clearly safer in police custody.

Possibly not the first time for daddy.

Certainly not the first time for the son.

I'm still trying to figure out why the wife posted bond, then wasn't there to pick up the son she chose to spring, against the extremely [rightfully] pissed off husband's wishes. Looking at his record, she had to know he had violent tendencies, and I mean, his 8-year-old was raped by his farked up son....

What did she expect? Them to hug and make up?

I mean, I'm sure she didn't expect a wrench in the kid's ass, but... to not expect a severe beating, she'd have to have an IQ of about 12.

Tatsuma [TotalFark] 2008-01-13 05:24:57 PM
serpent_sky: I'm still trying to figure out why the wife posted bond,

Why? She most likely agreed he deserved a good beating.

In fact, that boy is lucky to be alive, because there are a LOT of dads who would have killed him right there, if they had found him touching their 8 year old daughters.

That could be why she has a son that doesn't know that you don't rape an 8-year-old

Tatsuma [TotalFark] 2008-01-13 05:27:04 PM
In fact, I am not sure I would have been able to control myself like he did and just call the police once he found him doing that.

I'm pretty sure the whole jail thing was no picnic. Now she has two raped kids, and a jailed husband.

In fact, that boy is lucky to be alive, because there are a LOT of dads who would have killed him right there, if they had found him touching their 8 year old daughters.

That is true. My father would have killed anyone for doing something like that... and not thought twice about it. I don't think he'd have gone for wrench-rape, though. That's pretty twisted, honestly.

Pretty twisted? Yes and no. Most people will wish for that guy to end up prison so he'll get a taste of his own medecine...

Gangrape in prison, or wrench up the ass, it's kinda the same.

No matter how pissed off you are, and no matter what the person did, when you anally rape the with a wrench as a payback, there's something not quite right.

I mean, points for creativity... but honestly... there's something wrong with you when that's floating around in your head.

I still think the kid was lucky he didn't get anally raped with the baseball bat...

Agreed. The article makes it sound like the dad walked in his 8-yr-old daughter being raped. I probably would have killed him right then and there. It would take a lot of restraint to call the police.

A part of me says yeah the kid deserved it, but deseving it and executing that sentence are two different things. This is the same kind of barbarism I expect from those animals that commit "honor killings". While I can sympathize with the dad I can't condone his actions.

Ah, yes, but this is Fark, and people around here, when it comes to vigilante justice, tend to talk like a pitchfork and fire-wielding mob.

There's no way this compares to an "honor killing."
