I guess I'll be the first to question why a 7-year-old child needs a cell phone.

But the myth is, did he explode? Because if not, we're just going to have to find out what it takes to make him explode.

kids these days are such wimps. I got this caliber of punishment all the time when I was a kid. I still can't taste bitter from the lye mouthwash.

Well, I see the internet tough guys/gals are already appearing.

Yes, yes, I understand your hardcore nature. Execution/Torture for the perpetrator to show how much you oppose execution/torture.

You know, the witches in the Brothers Grimm stories who cook children are not role models. On the other hand, Swift was on to something with his Modest Proposal.

Fraser's only comment to Justice Anthony Benedict during her arraignment referred to the media.

"I just don't want nobody coming to my house," she told the judge.

Benedict said he couldn't stop people from knocking on her door. He released her without bail, because she has shown up at all her previous hearings and at Family Court, where custody of her twin boys is at stake.

Translation: the Court is prepared to overlook the creation and deployment of a noose. But just this once. Oh, and there are plenty of nice trees around 1 Tallman Place. Just saying, is all.

Man Going His Own Way 2008-01-12 09:00:02 PM
She was depressed. She saw a face in the audience on the Oprah Show that reminded of an ugly man that asked her out a bunch of years ago. The trauma led to a rush of memories. Then...

Article fails to address the most important issue: Was this method of punishment effective? Has the kid lost another cell phone?

Fraser appeared in court yesterday, dressed in a white jacket, gray sweat pants and boots. She wore black-rimmed glasses. She has appeared before the judge in this case before on the misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a child.

This tells me all i need to know.

What, that the defendant is poor? Of course the defendant is poor. Otherwise, she would have been able to afford a microwave.

Let me be the first to say, well done subby. Though unfortunately not rare in this day and age, these headloins are the best medium for finding out about these juicy tidbits and I won't bloody well go to any other fork in the information superhighway for them.

I was actually at a party in H.S. at my best friends house where we had to stop the microwave and pull "Boots" the cat (his mom's) out of it. Poor Boots always got shafted somehow: Turned into a stegosaurus with Resolve carpet cleaner plates sprayed on, hopping about parties with sandwich bags over his paws (that's a fun one), duct taped somewhere crazy ala where's waldo (the ceiling fan was un-toppable), angering him then stuffing him in the dryer (off) and then having another person fetch "your shirt from the dryer"... but the microwave was even beyond our bounds.

/Boots was never the same
//actually walked in concentric circles for about a month, then walked normal again.
///Oh, and to TFA... that's some good parenting there, Lou.

Here is another version with pictures of the boy's attractive and successful mother. Don't miss the comments. Almost Farkworthy.

And you up there, thanks for the microwave cat .gif. I needed something like that for my collection.
