Are there any meth success stories?

The closest thing that could be called a "meth success story" would be someone who tries the drug once, doesn't become addicted/fark up there dopaminergic system, and then realizes how stupid it is and never does it again. Meth is about the worst thing you can do for you brain.

I gotta tell you, I'm so lucky. I tried it TWICE and loved it so much that I knew if I continued, I'd become addicted. I'm so LUCKY that I was able to not pursue obtaining it. Whenever a friend mentions it, I make a point to say "NEVER get me near that stuff" and I haven't been for over ten years. I don't have good willpower, trust me, I drink, etc. but I knew somehow that stuff would be the death of me. Anything that makes you feel that good is only going to destroy you.

Yeah. The Lib media covers it like they cover Iraq. Start showing some of the good news about meth.

Goldeneye007 2008-01-12 05:36:36 PM
something I can remember: Meth is a nasty one. Still think it should be legal. If meth was legal and regulated by the government, it would be very clean for one and for two people would lose the profitability or need of running labs. People would still get addicted and ruin their lives, but it would save lives of those such as this baby who would probably never been exposed to a meth lab had meth been legal.

Let people ruin their lives if they want, the drug war ruins the lives of everyone.

and for the record, fark meth.

I don't think legalizing meth would make any difference on whether or not someone set up a meth lab in their home, it would only encourage it.

I know several physicians who got through school taking the stuff. It has the potential to really fark people up; however, there are people who use it safely. That makes bad news.

I personally wouldn't touch the stuff, but the "average" user is nothing like the outliers you see in the media. The thing is that the outliers are really salient.

You go ahead and tell that to the darling boys we adopted. Tell that to P who marinated in that shiat while she was pregnant. Tell it to E who aquired her Hepatitis c because she couldn't keep the fricking dirty needles out of her arms.

People who involve their kids( born or unborn) need to be beat to death.

The boys were victims, SHE was a volunteer. Fark Meth and kill the people who make it.

FTA: It's also one of the most dangerous drugs to make. Not just because of possible fires and explosions from chemicals, but because many people who make meth have children in their home.

So if there's no kids in my house it's okay to cook meth?

Drunk_Ninja_Deluxe 2008-01-12 05:59:47 PM
I've known a few people who have done meth on normal/semi-normal basis who have lived normal lives. The people like that are the extreme cases. Just like alcoholics.

Boy, now I've seen everything. The people on the net who can't bring themselves to type a word like "crap" freak me out even more than the really sick pr0n available. I have so far seen "G-d", "s-x" and now this.

Exactly
But what the fark does that have to do with it being legal?
If making it legal means parents can hand it out to their kids well then I hope you don't drink beer because I'd hate to see those darling boys going on an underage drinking rampage.

Alwaysus 2008-01-12 06:11:32 PM
Right, because if a drug as nasty as meth was actually LEGAL then only upstanding people would use it.

I really do TRY and understand the " make it legal" reasoning, I do, but it makes no sense to me.

HowlingPook 2008-01-12 06:13:55 PM
Meth is manufactured legally and sold by several labs. Trade name is Didrex. It's used as an adjunct in some weight loss programs and other medical conditions that call for amphetamines. The military uses a scaled down version as "stay awake" pills for pilots and other mission critical personnel. The Rx version is cleaner and has less wean-off depression and irritability. That's probably what the physicians took to get through school. I know is is very popular in FLA.

I'm sure someone more versed in it than I will post before or after this post, but in the Jewish faith it's not cool to write the name of God. I can't cite chapter and verse for why, and maybe it's only certain flavors of Judaism. But there you go.

cr-p on the other hand...... yeah.....I can't explain that one.
