Sorry, Barack Obama asks for no special consideration for being black. Why should Hillary get it for being a woman?

I had figured Bill getting caught in delicto flagrante would be her best chance for a bump in the polls.....how's she going to keep conjuring up tears for sympathy for the rest of the race?

She doesn't have to do it for the rest of the race, just until Super Tuesday.

/doesn't get to vote until March 11th
/vote won't count by that time, just might stay home

Ah, the mean ol' media is picking on Hillary. Yes they are. Yes they are.

/said in my best baby-talk voice.
// So it comes that Man, the coward, when he gathers to confer
With his fellow-braves in council, dare not leave a place for her
Where, at war with Life and Conscience, he uplifts his erring hands
To some God of Abstract Justice-which no woman understands.

And Man knows it! Knows, moreover, that the Woman that God gave him
Must command but may not govern-shall enthral but not enslave him.
And She knows, because She warns him, and Her instincts never fail,
That the Female of Her Species is more deadly than the Male.

For Sally Bassett, 46 and a stay-at-home mum, the glimpse of raw emotion was the turning point. She had been impressed by Clinton, but she added: "What struck me was that she had such a deep concern about the direction the country was going in. It just struck a chord.

Christ. This woman reproduced too. What a shame.

Thankfully, every poll I read has Obama winning easily in SC, and hopefully that momentum will help push him past Hillary's BS crap.

That brief flash of feeling probably saved Clinton's campaign,

I have a hard time believing that, women are not as fickle as people may think...I love how everything about her campaign is concentrating on gender, the unflattering pictures of her wrinkles, any show of emotion. I haven't made a decision yet about where my votes going, but it is becoming clearer to me every day.

If the Media treated Hillary the same way they treated Dubya, Fred, Huckabee, Obama or Edwards - she would have won presidency by now.

Well, I was going to vote for Obama ...

But this article makes me believe that since I am a white male,

my OBLIGATION is to vote for John Edwards.

He's a white male too, you know.

fark that article and fark the women who vote based on gender and "score card" politics.

Yeah... that's true. Hell, after both elections involving bush I should take polls worth a grain of salt. Hasn't the pattern been though, that whoever wins 2 of the first 3, (Iowa, SC, and NH) they become the nominee?

That would be impressive, considering the election isn't until November.

//If she gets the nom, guess I'm voting Republican. Because with Giuliani losing horribly, the remaining Republican candidates are actually less like Bush 2 than she.

You know, I hate to bring this up. I really do, because Obama himself has been such a class act with regards to race. He doesn't constantly throw it in your face and call you a bigot if you don't vote for him....

That said, SC has a really large black population, and they will (in all likelihood) go his way.

Hillary's best voting blocs are: a) old white women who desperately want a President with a vag before they croak, and b) retards.

Old white women aren't as large a segment of the population in SC because, unlike NH, SC actually has some small measure of racial diversity. Also, most of the retards in SC will be voting for Republicans, so that erodes her support as well.

I honestly do hate discussing the primaries in these terms, because race should have nothing to do with it....but it does. Welcome to America.

NOTE: The above wasn't intended as a "ZOMG!! AMURKKKA IS TEH RACISTS!1!!" diatribe. I'm just trying to be realistic about this.

Bush won the Presidency because he seemed like a good guy to have a beer with (never you mind the fact that he's a recovering alcoholic).

Tell me you weren't expecting more out of the American public....

I'm with you, but seeing as how Hillary is making this a "vote-for-me-based-soley-on-my-immutable-traits" game, I'm willing to look the other way on whatever race-related horseshiat Obama needs to pull in SC to keep that vile coont from ever setting foot inside the White House ever again.

Sucks it has to be this way, but to end the Bush/Clinton dynasty? So be it.
