Saw him a House of Blues a few years ago. What a voice.

Yeah, but...Paul Rodgers and Queen...WTF?

I just didn't get the joke with that one. Someone please post the punch line, thanks.

I imagine they were mutual fans.

So Paul says, "That's me mum's English Custard all over your face, bloke!"

One of the most soulful of the white British singers from the late 60's - early 70's. Listen to Rock Steady for proof.

I saw Paul and Jimmy Page play together when they were in The Firm. Great voice and a nice dude.

I forgive him for The Firm. Very gifted singer. Bad Company is still one of the best guilty pleasures.

He's a great singer, no doubt.

But it's pure vanity to think that he could even fill the shoes of Freddie Mercury even for a minute.

It's embarrassing. Go to YouTube and search for Queen and Paul Rodgers. He does a passable version of "We Will Rock You" but it all falls flat with pretty much everything else.

He does not have that kind of versatility. Compared to Mercury, Rodgers is a one-trick pony with one vocal range.

It's bullsh*t, and it's annoying that that union even occurred at all. What's next? Henry Rollins doing opera?

Hey, don't knock a guy for trying to improve himself....

I heard the Fire and Water CD by Free. Very classic stuff, not just the big hit most people have heard (All Right Now). Very tasteful rock. Old but worth getting if you run across it. Mr Big ... cool bass line. Minimal, tasteful guitar work..etc. And that voice on top of it all
