Who gives a rat's arse. Too many awards shows as it is. I say they cull it down to the Emmy's, Oscar's and Tony's. They just keep adding more award shows so they can spread the wealth and make sure all of the previous snowflake actors don't get their ego's bruised and get their panties in a bunch.

I actually kinda like the Golden Globes. It isn't too formal, everyone is having a good time and you get a meal and drinks with the show. How can you hate that?

I think it would be great entertainment to see all the stars try to give out the awards without the teleprompter or cue cards.. could be a ratings blow out. Probably a lot of gaffs.. dont even tell them what to say just tell them the category and the nominees and let them wing it.

It's hard to believe that the "witty banter" the drunk actors/actresses woodenly read from their teleprompters is actually written on paper instead of the method one would assume they use: vomiting "Alpha-Getti" onto a table and reciting what it says.

Has anyone else watched this doc? I'm not big on award shows but I stopped watching the Globes after this.

That being said, I generally use that magical button and don't watch this crap. But I might have watched this years only to see if it was a train wreck without the writers.

You have to remember that the Hollywood Foreign Press Association is made up of 100 members. Thats it. And its a bunch of guys that write for news sites no one has ever heard of before.

In the grand scheme of things, it means absolutely nothing. But the value that Hollywood bestows to these ass-hats is really astounding.
