I don't get the psychology used by many in communal living parking lots. Take my parking lot, for example. There's enough room for 12 vehicles. We have a healthy mix of sedans, pickup trucks and SUVs. One side of the lot is covered in several inches of sand which, of course, turns a little muddy and sticky when it rains. Guess where the trucks and SUVs, with their 4 wheel drive transmissions, park?

Just because my truck is capable of 4wd doesn't mean I want to step out of it into mud. Or step into mud and then track it into my vehicle.

I suppose if I had paid that much for a vehicle I would be afraid to drive it too. Just because I have 4wd doesn't protect me from the other people out there that can't drive in the snow. Does sound pretty dumb to buy the vehicle if you aren't going to use it though.
