Yes, and that conspiracy is better known as "the will of the people."

bluenovaman 2008-01-06 08:54:56 AM
Has anyone on her staff informed her that it is because she is an insufferable biatch? Every time I hear her speak I just want to put my fist through the TV.

Pocket Ninja [TotalFark] 2008-01-06 08:57:34 AM
There is really nothing more annoying on earth. Than some two-bit columnist with no new ideas who thinks he's channeling PJ O'Rourke. But has only one or two real tricks in his writing bag. And doesn't do either one of them particularly well.

sasquatchologist: The only people that ever wanted Hillary were the cons. And only because any half-wit (most of the republican candidates) could beat her.

You better apologize for insulting honest half-wits everywhere.

/at best, the R candidates are quarter-wit.

So how soon before Hillary resorts to crocodile tears and spastic accusations that everyone is being mean to her?

/chicks, man

This just proves she's really a right-winger.

Leave Hillary alone!

Perhaps she would do better if she found another cast member of "Walker, Texas Ranger" to campaign with.

Mr. Xhin: It's because we (Democrats) want to win.

Edwards for President!

You're doing it wrong.

Ed Finnerty 2008-01-06 10:24:59 AM
Must be. The only ones who want her to run are Rs. It helps the frothing.

Nemo's Brother 2008-01-06 10:34:12 AM
CNN and the NYT seems pretty adamant about her being president. So much so that they convinced several out there that a large percentage of the American population wants it as well.

Dufus [TotalFark] 2008-01-06 10:34:22 AM
Hillary is just what we need to combat the terrorist threats against the US. They would never know when she would go into full biatch mode and just nuke everyone.

FARK Caucus/Straw Poll:

Anyone think she will make it past the primaries?

chiett 2008-01-06 10:51:17 AM
Why doesn't she make the loss complete and announce Kerry as her VP running mate.

BalugaJoe 2008-01-06 10:53:14 AM
Everyone can see through her phonyness.

People can see she is to desperate and wants it too badly.

Do you TFers finally see what the rest of the world has for years?

bmasso 2008-01-06 11:11:32 AM
FTA : Which is why a new word has suddenly entered this year's political lexicon: "secular." As in, "secular Republicans," or, more generally, "secular voters." Non-moonbats, in other words. For the GOP, it means voters for whom snakes are not part of their Sunday-morning religious services. For the Democrats, it means voters who don't believe that 9/11 was a Bush-Cheney-Halliburton plot."

Best part.

I hope you are talking to the total fark fake conservative brigade because they were the only people telling everyone she was the inevitable dem candidate.

no.

-you are.

all of your comments are so "full of fail"...that i've been able to accuarately predict the weather by using your comments as an opposite gauge.

get a 'new' catch phrase.

I would like to state that:

1. I support Obama, which;
2. Doesn't matter because I'm not American and can't vote in this election, but nevertheless;
3. I think Hillary's right. The media has swallowed the mean-Hillary/nice-guy-Obama deal which the campaigns (and the media itself) has manufactured. Her "attacks" have been well within the realm of acceptable political discourse (even the cocaine thing, though mildly sucky, was turned against Hillary with disproportionate zeal). Finally, among unfair attacks, Farkers are surely at the head of the pack with the Hilldabeast/coont/biatch rhetoric which - someone has to say it - is basically sexism disguised as some kind of Farkish nonchalance.

I'll take that as a compliment (as well as a reassurance that I have a level-headed point of view).

So you think that Clinton attacking Obama for being too ambitious for the Presidency on the fact that when he was a first grader he wrote a paper on how he'd like to be President, was within the normal bounds of discourse?

I don't.

This is a great weekend for those of us who never liked the first generation of trailer-park trash from Hope. And now what goes around comes around. The Clintons always fancied themselves so much cooler than those crusty old World War II Republicans, George H.W. Bush and Bob Dole. Now the Clintons are the dinosaurs. Did you see the people standing behind Hillary in Iowa on Thursday night during her concession speech?

Jesus Christ. What a self-absorbed asshole. "The Clintons." They're both bad! And the same person! How is this guy a reporter and not a blogger?

I love how republicans are getting in their last licks at Hillary and Bill.

Hope they savor it though. After all, if she loses the nomination to Obama, they're going to lose their boogeyman, their greatest motivator for getting sheep to the polls. It's not like they have an actual platform to run on, y'know.

Lando Lincoln [TotalFark] 2008-01-06 12:19:07 PM
moothemagiccow: Jesus Christ. What a self-absorbed asshole. "The Clintons." They're both bad! And the same person! How is this guy a reporter and not a blogger?

Indeed. That's one of the big reasons why I can't support Clinton. I just could not stand to listen to these blubbering vaginas blubber on and on about the Clintons for another 4 to 8 years. I'd feel compelled to defend her, but I just don't want to expend that kind of energy on her.

Obama, on the other hand, is well worth the effort.

Befuddled 2008-01-06 12:27:32 PM
I don't get all the hatred towards Hillary. While I don't think I will vote for her in the primary, that doesn't mean I hate her, only that I think there's a better person for the job.

I think she was just hatched from her pod and hasn't learned how real humans interact yet.

He isn't a reporter anymore. He does his column and has an afternoon talk show in Boston. In the past couple of years he's gotten lazy at both of them. His show is still interesting, but he recycles a lot of topics. I think he wants to coast for a couple of more years and retire to FL before he's 60.

Well they are convinced that a large number of Americans want diamonds, to refinance their mortgages, and to churn their money into questionable investment schemes. Just judging by their real content, the commercials.

Nor do I think sending out one of her employees to say "well, he might've dealt coke in high school" was in the "normal bounds of discourse."

Most of the attacks on HRC are because she was the leader in the polls. Nothing sells the news like dirt on the front-runner.
Now that Barack's in front, expect articles about his votes in the IL legislature, the shady land deal, his financial support from shady sources, etc.

Well in all fairness, while I thought she was a nut claiming that there was a vast right wing conspiracy against President Clinton, turns out she was 100% correct.

So I am the dumbass.

errr, being of the Left and having those of the Right oppose you ain't a "conspiracy".
Nor was Hillary using the term in that context.
She was trying to imply that her hubbie was NOT a Hound-Dog controlled by his Little Billie,
but that all the stories were just made up by the VRWC to slander her paragon of a Hubbie.
//Hint : It ain't "slander" if it's TRUE.

We discovered, largely due to a dress NOT sent to be dry-cleaned, that that was bullcrap.
Annnd - if any of several Hillary biographies are to be believed, she already KNEW that was bullcrap while she was shoveling it out to the press.

//Heh, If having sex with President Clinton qualifies you to be President, there may well be one or more ladies out there MORE qualified than Hillary.......
