Somehow I don't think this is the new image that Wisconsin is looking for.

Submitter: serving 18 months for having sex with a dead horse...9 months for having sex with a dead deer

So is there like a per-pound-dead-animal-sex formula for punishment?

It's a victimless crime. Let him go.

Is this typical of Wisconsonians?

It's sad when dead horses and deer get more action than me.

I have a hard time buying the victimless crime argument when it comes to necrobestiaity. There is a serious public health risk.

monty666: It's a victimless crime. Let him go.

FTA:
He was found guilty in April 2005 of felony mistreatment of an animal after he killed a horse with the intention of having sex with it.

The horse he killed probably didn't think it was a victimless crime.

superbovine: So is there like a per-pound-dead-animal-sex formula for punishment?

I'm fairly sure he received a longer sentence for the horse because he killed it before having sex with it.
Apparently the deer was already dead when he decided it was looking sexy.

Disgusting! Leave me in a deep well to die!

Crosshair [TotalFark] 2008-01-06 01:20:57 AM
Yea, the killing the house part, certainly lock him up. As for the necrobestiaity, I don't know if I should/want to have an opinion on that.

monty666 [TotalFark] 2008-01-06 01:25:06 AM
Oh, I didn't know he killed animals to have sex with them. I thought he just had sex with random dead animals he found. That changes everything.

It is not a victimless crime.

I hope he goes to prison for a long time.

/those things are ugly

Dead? Well that's the clincher right there.

ChewbaccaJones [TotalFark] 2008-01-06 01:35:33 AM
It would've been better if he gave the horse a handjob. Then he could have been charged with beating a dead horse.

/blame the beer

Dolphin 2008-01-06 01:35:58 AM
even better.. how would you like to be the guy that catches him in the act? Someone musta done it or we probably wouldn't be hearing about it...

zagadka 2008-01-06 01:36:32 AM
I was thinking, why is that really a crime... but "He was found guilty in April 2005 of felony mistreatment of an animal after he killed a horse with the intention of having sex with it" explains it. I mean, I'm not gonna be the next person to go fark barn yard animals, much less dead ones, but I dunno why there'd be a law... but eh, Midwest...

tonesskin [TotalFark] 2008-01-06 01:36:40 AM
Killing a deer to have sex with it = crime.

Killing a deer to eat it = not a crime.

He should've just gone down on the deer instead.

SuperbovineSo is there like a per-pound-dead-animal-sex formula for punishment?

Yeah unfortunately the punishment for cows isn't enough to deter him either....watch your back..

skinink 2008-01-06 01:37:32 AM

Punish him by making him fark a porcupine.

Reminds me of this old joke:

"A guy walks into a bar and sees a jar ful of money and asks the bartender whats with all the money. The bartender said "you put $10 in and have to do 3 taskes to win all the money". So the guys asks what do you have to do to get al the money.

"The bartender said "you have to drink a gallon of peppered tequila, then go out back behind the bar and pull out a mean old dog's tooth, and go up stairs and make love to and old woman".

"He thinks for a minute and turns down the tasks. 10 minutes later he give the bartender $10 and drinks the gallon of peppered tequila. Then he goes out back to the dog. There's howling, growling , wimpering, then nothing at all.

"The guy comes back to the bartender and says " so wheres the old lady with the bad tooth?""

I think it says a lot about me that I am vastly, vastly, vastly amused by this headline. I would just love to see the look on the judge's face when he saw what he had on the docket that morning.

What if it was a cow and he later made steaks out of it? He could just be tenderizing the meat from the inside.

palad 2008-01-06 01:39:22 AM
I don't like laws that give the impression that animals can/do/should have 'rights'. They are the thin end of the wedge put forth by the likes of PETA which will lead us all to a life of forced vegetarianism.

I therefore only support prosecution of this fellow on the grounds that the horse was someone's property. If the deer was killed legally, I really see no justification in charging him again.

This guy got busted for messing with underage kids too, right? Sounds like he is trying to find anyone or anything to have sex with. Dude is crazy and needs to be locked up. That or someone should explain the concept of prostitution to him.

\probably just a matter of time before he kills a woman or child

petuniapup 2008-01-06 01:41:27 AM
I read this headline right after skimming the vote-for thread about the dead Major's blog.
First read-through, I assumed he was released from military service after having sex with a horse, but then got sent back to serve again after he was caught farking a dead deer.
Makes more sense now. :)

TheMaskedUnit 2008-01-06 01:42:02 AM
He had his probation revoked last month for using alcohol and marijuana, lying to his probation agent, and having unapproved contact with a minor child and sexual relations with another adult.

So am I to understand that having sex with a dead horse makes him ineligible to have contact with a minor or sex with an adult?

itazurakko [TotalFark] 2008-01-06 01:42:42 AM
monty666: It's a victimless crime. Let him go.

Creepy thing is though, he KILLED the horse in order to have teh sex. It's not like he just found the dead horse and went for it.

If he found a dead deer, and got it on, then yeah, it's weird, but harmless, I'd think.

psychomashugana 2008-01-06 01:43:12 AM
And there's an online movement to free him Link (new window):

"
Bryan James Hathaway is a young minority activist from Wisconsin who has been on the forefront of progressive struggle for the liberation of inanimate objects, plants, animals, and household appliances. His selfless devotion to fighting speciism and necrophobia in our society has led him to be brutally persecuted, tortured, and incarcerated - all for a laughable "crime" of "sexual gratification with a dead deer on the side of the road." As if his prior conviction of "horsing around" had not been enough, the bigoted ruling class is once again making him the whipping boy of their own suppressed anxieties, fantasies, and desires. "

He was on probation THEN did all that stuff....

This is one sick guy. I wouldn't want him around kids either. I'm sure some family members are doing just that.... keeping him away from any potential targets. Just like with other crimes, he may be building up to more serious ones. The animal assaults might be because he hasn't gotten the courage yet to attack a human.

I hope they lock him up as long as possible.

(No, not typical of Wisconsinites)

Killing a horse is bad, because in America we think of horses as pets and companions, not as food or sex objects.

How come nobody asked about legalizing eating horse in the debates tonight?
