Just what every son of a famous father wants; for his dad to come into his personal space that he's finally carved out in the world, and take over and make it all about DADDY!

//he should just stay away

Oh come on. I don't even know any teenagers without the balls to say "Uh, dad, thanks, but no, that would totally be uncool" if they didn't want their dad there. I'm sure sons are looking to get a few more people into the show that wouldn't have gone otherwise if Joe himself wasn't there.

I'm sure Joe lends more than just moral support to the band. I bet there's some financial support in there as well somehow.

It's possible; here's hoping it's not that way. But in my experience, er, no.

The Sweet Emotion rocker also has a third son, Roman.

...the good-for-nothing son we don't talk about, apparently.

Yup. Also, their present guitar player's confidence isn't exactly going to be boosted by this.

I bet he just comes out for 1 or 2 songs, not play the entire night.

On the contrary, any real guitarist would be honored and absolutely farking stoked to share a stage with Joe Perry.
