FTA: The SUV was traveling around 70 mph at impact, and the occupants weren't wearing seat belts, he said.

Another passenger, Tammy Flick-the mother of Zoe-remains in stable condition at Atlanta Medical Center with a broken leg.

At first I was glad she lived so that she could spend a lot of time in prison and the rest of her life knowing that her idiocy killed her kid.

But then I realized that at most she'll get a year in jail, will get over the death of her kid by the time I'm done posting this, and will soon be free to have more offspring.

F*cking humanity.

Is it typical to go 70 mph while "mud-bogging"? I always thought off-roading was a high-torque, low-speed pursuit. But I drive a hybrid, so what do I know?

Klyde: Too bad the drunken whores couldn't have killed themselves without the kids being hurt but 2 of 3 is not a bad day for Darwin.

You contradicted yourself.

For it to be a Darwin candidate, the kids have to die. In fact, there's no mention of whether these were their only kids. If they have living kids at home then it's ineligible.

Too many people like to throw out references to Darwin without having any clue at all what it actually means. Is this subject just not taught in middle school anymore? Do the people who misuse and abuse it not realize that they themselves would likely make an excellent sacrifice in the name of Darwinism?

On the other hand, she was a passenger. For all we know she was the lone voice of reason when the idiot driver said, "Hey, hold my espresso and watch this." What was she going to do, grab her kid and jump at 70 miles an hour? *shrug*

Not to defend this person in any way, but why would she be going to jail for being a passenger in a car accident? Not fastening her child's seatbelt? Is that her fault, or the fault of the driver? Serious question...

No. I'm sure they would have also mentioned the vehicle type if they had gone muddin' in a minivan. Or a Prius. Or a Mini.

I guesss that person isn't able to compute that sober mud-bogging at 70 mph would also be retarded.
