I have a feeling that labeling this as "satire" wouldn't much help the sort of person who gets their news from Yahoo.

Mmm...that's good satire.

Of course, we are all supposed to be horrified if Hillary ever acts like a tough politician.

It's OK of any Republican does it. Or most men. There's lots of things men politicians do that if Hillary were even accused of doing them, she would be a Nazi biatch and completely out of control and can't be elected for the safety of us all.

Dem's the rules.

Like be repeatedly linked to illegal campaign funding? Things like that?

You mean this is satire?

Seems like standard operating procedure for the Hillary Camp.

Andy Borowitz created The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. He's ok in my book.

I don't hate Hillary because she's a woman. I hate her because she's corrupt, dishonest, and her family has already had their chance.

/like the majority of her colleagues.

Elsewhere, the state of New Jersey banned capital punishment, arguing that living in New Jersey was bad enough.

Wow, just wow.

I guess this guy is a "humorist" because if you remember right. Remember that guy on PBS who made up stupid songs about politics and played them on an American flag piano while he snag? And none of it was EVER funny, but it was always cheesy and so pathetic you wondered how many lobotomies the audience had had that day to be able to sit in the same room with him and not claw heir eyes out with rakes? Yeah, he called himself a "Humorist"

Um, asshole, Yahoo doesn't write news. They get exactly 100% from AP and Reuters. Yahoo is nothing more than a portal.

Really? Wow. That's fascinating. You're an intellectual titan, and don't let anybody tell you any differently.

Also, you should continue to ignore the fact that even "portals" that don't write their own content, they actively select the content they use.

And, finally, your method of posting--going straight for the insult, never mind who you're talking to--marks you as a real class act. Never change. You're a winner.

I think much of what bush does should qualify as Wisconsin based Onion satire.

Why not give that same gift to those vote republican, it is only fair.

/Would help if it was actually funny.

aharown 2007-12-29 02:51:29 PM
I didn't know that Yahoo does satire. But, it's clearly labeled "Creators Syndicate" at least twice, at the beginning and ending of the article. And it's completely outrageous. AND it's not funny.

Anyone who would think this is legitimate is an idiot who deserves a tattoo reading "Stupid" on his forehead.

teto85 [TotalFark] 2007-12-29 03:00:44 PM
The "writer" is Andy Borowitz and this is his standard fare. He writes like a retarded MAD Magazine writer. Just ad hominem statements loosely strung together.

/My cat writes better than he does. And she's asleep most of the time.

Crude 2007-12-29 04:10:13 PM
She's one to throw stones...

At least he sleeps in a bed!!!

Unlike some people that sleep in a cobweb.

/But this is like something she would dredge up

underbridge 2007-12-29 05:27:19 PM
Article is pretty lame and unfunny.

Made me think about all the retarded attacks on other people hildebeast has done while claiming she isn't, and the fact that her whole strategy is to run like she is an incumbent and take no hard positions.

And this made me imagine a world where a minimum IQ or level of knowledge about politics was required to vote. Can you imagine? Hillary would plummet to Kucinich-like numbers in the polls, saying "9/11" wouldn't give you a free pass to trample civil rights, it would be paradise.

My point is, if you're thinking of voting for hillary, stop, think, read and consider long and hard exactly what SHE herself has done and what her real personality and policies will be if elected.

eh, this behavior drops them to the bottom of folks i'd vote for list with me. in the governors race in texas, my vote was for "not perry, or that other guy" because of the scum buildup from their own behaviour

simpsonfan 2007-12-29 11:01:30 PM
This is the first election since 1952 without an incumbent President or Vice President of either party running. Which usually gives them better chance at the nomination. So we will see a lot of mud on both sides this time. Even if this article is true, and he wet his bed, he was three years old. Not a big deal.
