Finger Eleven? Jesus America, stop taking the worst Canadian music. These douches, Three Days Grace, Nickelback, Sum 41, Celine Dion, Shania Twain, Avril Lavigne, Rush. It's fine though, more Esthero and Black Mountain for me.

Hey Finger Eleven's stuff on the whole is good, latest album was garbage...Paralyzer is a damn good song though.

Nickelback is horrible...nobody compares to Nickelback in the suck department..

also stop hating on Rush...

Have you read the lyrics to it? Holy stupid, batman.

Paralyzer, verse 1: I hold on so nervously
To me and my drink
I wish it was cooling me
But so far, has not been good
It's been shiatty
And I feel awkward, as I should
This club has got to be
The most pretentious thing
Since I thought you and me
Well I am imagining
A dark lit place
Or your place or my place

WHAT THE F*CK.

holy shiat, finger eleven sucks balls. just because you can mix songs like that, doesn't mean you should.

Micheal Jackson / Kyuss (new window) Best mashup ever, no reason to listen to any other.

Give it a sec to load, slow sometimes.

Gunny Highway lol..although being a EMU is the new yuppy, I prefer to listen to Bobby Mcferrin while throwing Styrofoam big mac containers at PETA people from my Baby seal wrapped SUV...wait..think Dennis Leary has been doing that for over a decade...crap, I guess I have to conform no matter what

id watch it but you know..both of those bands suck the cach

The concept of a "Mashup" is retarded. Unless... it is actually performed by the separate artists in the same studio for that reason or at a live show.

I feel sorry for the assholes who sync these up, just like the dope head who thinks Pink Floyd and The Wizard of Oz actually sync up.

Lay off the bong,

I like the Paragalactic thing, a lot, even though I don't care for the song Paralyzer on its own, and I don't usually care much for the Beastie Boys.

The rest of the crap you guys linked to above all sucks, IMO. Checked them out, didn't like any of them - especially the MJ/Kyuss thing.

Not a chance! My personal favorite is "Intergalactic" by the Beastie Boys and "We Used to be Friends" by The Dandy Warhols.

Intergalactic Friends

Great video, but I can't find it on YouTube anywhere.

THIS.

F11's stuff has always been very good and creative rock. This latest album was a (successful) attempt at a 'sell-out'.

I didnt mind too much when Incubus or Hoobustank did the same thing. After years and years of tiny venues and crappy conditions while putting out great music... go ahead and throw out an mass friendly album to make some money.

A lot of bands have done this and then had the financial security to have more of a say in what they do/write/sell.

Thank you for noticing that as well. That was the first thing I thought of when I heard that song. Surprised nobody else has posted about the similarity yet. As for difference between the two- one is a solid rock track, and the other blows swollen donkey dick. Take a guess.

At least when Finger Eleven were called Rainbow Butt Monkeys, they had the fact that they were called Rainbow Butt Monkeys going for them. Now, nothing.

So true, and yet I would describe their current music as more "buttmonkey-ish" than ever before.

AgentOrangeDrink: Finger Eleven? Jesus America, stop taking the worst Canadian music.

Quit sending it down here moron, except for rush no matter what you may think they are a good band.

Also F11 just ripped that guitar riff off from Led Zeppelin, what douches.

You think it's my decision? We only produce the crap, you assholes make them millionaires. As for Rush, having technical ability does not a good band make, but it sure doesn't surprise me that you're defending them.

Well thats what people think of jazz, good ability makes them great where jazz usually just sucks.

I didnt make any of those bands millionaires, I dont own one album of the artists that you have mentioned and producing the crap kinda makes you liable just ask the tobacco industry. As for Rush, I think they are one of the best live bands which puts them miles ahead of most bands who suck live, very few bands have ever impressed me live. Outside of their crappy lyrics and shiatty place rap in Roll the Bones they have been one of the consistently good musical bands in the past 30 years, hell name one band that has spanned that time and has just gotten better? Most have turned into a suck fest.

Is the name "Finger Eleven" some kind of dick joke? Am I missing something obvious? A dick joke?

That "one thing" song only seemed to have 4 or 5 different lines.

No one brought up jazz, and Rush has always been a suckfest. And if I'm liable for Nickelback then you're liable for Creed.

The Ghost of Freedom: I certainly wouldn't mind if you sent Black Mountain on down here. Their stuff's pretty damn good.

New album in January. I saw them play most of it live a while ago (I'm from where they're from) and it's going to be killer.

Finger Eleven and Smash Mouth get massive kudos for me for doing the most amazing thing you can in major label mainstream music;

Have no record deal or offer to even MEET with someone from a label and give a single to a couple hundred DJs and watch it shoot to the top 40 based on requests.

/"Walkin' On The Sun" by Smash Mouth and "One Thing" by Finger Eleven were the songs, BTW.
//DIY FTW

That certainly is remarkable. Walkin' On The Sun had that swing to it. I'd listen to it now if it were on, but smash Mouth isn't one I'm keen on. I can understand the popular appeal of One Thing, but I don't care for it myself.

This was before Smash Mouth did all those Steely Dan/Monkees cover Shrek soundtracks, right?
