But make sure they're women, though, because one time I... heh.

I never understood how PETA people can have so much time to create all their alienating theatrics.

Halfmast Trousers: I never understood how PETA people can have so much many time money supporters to create all their alienating theatrics.

The questions never end, really.

Now, these sex dolls... do they resemble humans, or...

KFC blows regardless of animal cruelty...

MOHWowbagger 2007-12-27 06:04:41 AM
It would clarify what exactly the planned protest was if they also seized a crotchless human-sized chicken suit.

macker 2007-12-27 06:05:02 AM
Citing its own "undercover operations", PETA said suppliers for KFC often abused chickens, including allegedly scalding them to death and cutting off their beaks while they are still conscious.

aww, someones upset because they've been watching Baraka.

PETA i hate you

Maximum Leader 2007-12-27 06:11:03 AM
FTFA: The dolls were to have gone on a tour of red light districts in the Philippines, Thailand and Japan where they would be displayed with a banner reading "KFC Blows", PETA said.

PETA wants to be edgy and this is all they can come up with? I'd expect a wittier propaganda campaign from an 8th grader.

Sadly, this plays right into their hands. The sex doll seizure will get more headlines than if their silly protest had gone ahead unmolested.

/I'm so sorry
//not really

I love animals. If anyone even thought about hurting my three cats or my dog, they'd feel the full fury of Bacon Justice with a hearty kick to the nethers for their trouble! That said, the folks in PETA are a bunch of fanatics that make the rest of us "animal lovers" look bad. Their antics only hurt their cause, and make it that much easier for the rest of the world to dismiss forthright and honest protests of animal cruelty.

... and KFC is tasty. My dog Roxy loves it when I toss her a bit of torn-off dark meat (so she won't choke on a chicken bone).

Next time I am caught with a box full of love dolls, I'll just claim to be protesting whaling or something too.

smadge1 2007-12-27 06:29:05 AM
ROFL, but do they spit or swallow?????????

i_hate_milk 2007-12-27 06:38:20 AM
Perhaps the reason the dolls look so surprised is that they're not going to wind up with more meat in them than a Manhattan deli?

mark12A 2007-12-27 06:39:21 AM
Do you ever have that dream where you're naked and covered in honey, rolled in oats and tossed into a chicken pen?

/how come I'm the only one who ever dreams that?
//used to have pet chickens
///very nice pets
\\\still loves the KFC

desolationrow 2007-12-27 06:40:02 AM
What complete douchebaggery. We want to protest a U.S. company, but we know if we bust out sex props in the U.S. we'll piss off alot of people and probably get a backlash, so let's just go stir shiat up with people less likely to retaliate against us. We still make our point, sort of, and all we did was piss off people who aren't as likely to fark with us.

Just great, KFC, a US corporation, has enough influence in a foreign country to use their security apparatus to protect their profits by doing their bidding against dissenters.

I could care less about PETA, the real story is the apparent use of a foreign government to stifle protest. You would think the Philippines would have learned not to trust the US after they foisted Marcos and martial law on the country.

katchooToo 2007-12-27 07:13:59 AM
PETA's headquarters is here in Norfolk VA. It is a very nice building on the waterfront. They have enough money to fund these protests...my question is how do they convince all those volunteers to take off all their clothes in public (always a highpoint during any of their protests)?

Or maybe - just maybe - the Phillipino government decided they didn't want a bunch of asshat foreigners marching down their streets displaying sex-toys in public? I'm as corporation-hating as the next Liberal Douchebag™, but even I don't think KFC was pulling the strings behind this seizure.

Sometimes it isn't about the Big, Bad Corporations holding us down. Sometimes it really is about some government just laying the smackdown on a group of idiots (as we see in this case).

DanielD33 2007-12-27 07:23:21 AM
Perhaps they wanted you to use the sex doll instead of "Choking the Chicken"

Bunnyhat 2007-12-27 07:41:47 AM
I support any protest that involves nudity and/or sex toys.

1. Philippines customs did this to help the local girls , Want sex use the hometown sex dolls.
2. PETA People the other white meat.
3. Sex with chickens is wrong. (Funny) but wrong

I was going to become vegetarian next year but not anymore.

Good job PETA. Thanks to you, animals will die.

Delicious animals.

tanager2 2007-12-27 08:34:56 AM
I don't know what it is with PETA and getting nekkid...they are starting to do this all the time! The nutcase on the catwalk, the other fruitcake in front of the Fleet Center when Ringling was in town, the whackjobs who simulate sex on the sidewalk (because vegetarians make better lovers...yeah, that makes lots of sense...) I swear they just like taking their clothes off.

I think Bunnyhat might be right. They do this because they're hoping to get people who won't be interested in anything else to pay attention to them.

Um, backlash in the US? Something like this was much more likely to happen overseas, which was probably to goal all along. Because I'm not the only one who doesn't care about PETA, but I might care about their rights being trampled. (I don't, it's overseas and all.)

You may be right, but remember this is the golden age of litigation, in association with the Soccer Mom. Parading sex props down the streets in the U.S. where a precious snowflake might see them and have nightmares is a fairly possible outcome.

I don't care if the animals felt pain while being processed as my food, as long as the process was hygenic and won't give me disease.

Now how will PETA satisfy their animal-killing ( http://www.petakillsanimals.com/) (pops) lusts as well as their lusts for sexing up animals.

so are sex dolls illegal in the Philippines?

but sex with a 14 year old isn't

this campaign sounded like an excuse to travel to all the tourist sex spots. i think the peta people might be looking for some non-barnyard lovin for once.

whipbambucket 2007-12-27 01:04:54 PM
Would Peta be hypocritical for choking their chickens now that they lost their sex dolls?

That actually makes...less sense.

Gods I hate PETA. Is there any way we can convince them they need to start giving lions hug therapy or something?

PETA must be the weirdest place to work: while the CEO is handing over money to professional arsonists to bomb universities, they're all stockpiling strange sex toys and conning fading actresses to pose nearly-nude in magazines.

It's like they're villains in a L. Ron Hubbard/Left Behind novel that shows how evil the NonJesus people are.
