Clearly you're just not paying attention. She's been nominated for at least 6 Grammys, including all the big ones. While I don't necessarily think the Grammy is a real indication of talent, it certainly is an indication of popularity.

I guess I don't get Amy Winehouse. It seems to me the industry hype machine is in full force, trying to make her out to be the next Streisand or something.

Christina Aguelera (sp) has a far superior voice imo. Not that I like her music, but that girl can sing.
