I keep looking for his 1964 TAMI show performance online, but it's not there. By that I mean the whole performance.

I remember when James Brown died, I was driving around town and saw a half-mast flag because Gerald Ford had died as well. I somehow hadn't heard the news of the latter yet, so for a minute there I thought the flag was at half-mast because of Brown's death. I still like to think it was...

Saw him at The Beverly Theatre in the mid-80s. Chuck Berry wa supposed to open but never showed, so JB did twice as many songs to fill the show.
