Love the Atom Heart Mother.
This is a short version. Sometimes they would really go nuts and play it for like half an hour.
Wolfgang's Vault has a couple whole concerts you can stream. You do have to register, but its free and they have a ton of old stuff like this.

Thanks Subby

My favorite era of Pink Floyd was between Atom Heart Mother and Meddle. Simply awesome.

Check out the Live at Pompeii on there... way better quality AHM than the san tropez cut.

I love Pompeii...I wore out my VHS copy in high school.

Just found this today - I was in the mood for some Atom Heart Mother today.

Gotta love Atom Heart Mother. Don't know how many times I've listened to that album while studying.

I have this show on DVD if anyone wants to trade. I have bunches of other Pink Floyd and old rock, jazz, and tons more. Video and audio - lossless.

Man think of all the filmed performances and interviews that have been long forgotten.

You could probably put out like 20 DVD's of the stuff!

As I reach for a peach
Slide a line down behind a sofa in San Tropez
Breaking a stick with a brick on the sand
Riding a wave in the wake of an old sedan
Sleeping alone in the drone of the darkness
Scratched by the sand that fell from my love
Deep in my dreams and I still hear her calling
If you're alone, I'll come home

Check out the version from 9/16/70. It's a great sounding soundboard you can get out there. Full orchestration, a choir and all kinds of crazy sound effects. Definitely the best one I've heard.

I like the part when he goes... "Aaaah ahhhaaahhaa ahaaahahahhaaaaaaa"

Actually, I love Pink Floyd. I only got to see them once in the later days without Roger. Saw them in '94 at the Rose Bowl. I was on acid and I bumped into Hulk Hogan. Literally. I thought he was going to kick my ass.

Seeing Hulk Hogan at a Floyd concert while on acid was farking weird.

The Pink Floyd era between Syd Barrett and "Dark Side of the Moon"
is by far my favorite.

The so-called "Pompeii" era.

Great stuff.

Thanks for taking me back, subby. Pink Floyd is one of those rare bands that's as good or better live than on albums, at least with the early trippy stuff. Most of the stuff including and after The Wall is just poppy rubbish.

skip to :40 to miss the unintelligible French gibberish
