Wasn't he also a roadie for Hendrix?

Jesus, Lemmy's as old as my parents? I mean, I didn't think he was a spring chicken but I didn't think he was that old either.

Lemmy will be doing some shows with Reverend Horton Heat and Nashville Pussy.

Enjoy.

"[Friday December 14th, 2007]
Have you ever wondered what it would sound like if the Reverend Horton Heat was fronted by Lemmy of Motorhead???? Well, if you live in the South West part of the US you're gonna get to find out. Hank III had to cancel dates in December and to make sure the fans got a good replacement the Reverend Horton Heat will back Lemmy for a 5-6 song set in between Nashville Pussy's set and the main Reverend Horton Heat. The dates of this happening are as follows:

12/27/07 - Los Angeles, CA - Wiltern Theater
12/28/07 - Anaheim, CA - Grove Of Anaheim
12/29/07 - Las Vegas, NV - House Of Blues
12/30/07 - Tempe, AZ - Marquee Theatre
12/31/07 - San Diego, CA - House Of Blues

If you have yet to get your tickets to one of these shows you better do so NOW, if they aren't already sold out, cause this is something you don't want to miss. Who knows if it will ever happen again."

OOps, forgot to add...

If you're ever in Hollywood, stop off at the Clown Room. There's a pretty good chance you'll bump into Lemmy there.

Dude's only about 5'2" but he's a hell of a nice guy. I tried to buy him a beer but he told me to give the pretty lady my money and he bought me a beer instead.

I had a hard time finding a pretty lady to give my money to though...

Loudest concert I have ever been to - Motorhead at the Masquerade in Atlanta a number of years ago. Even with earplugs, my head was still ringing the next day.

Lemmy complained the PA wasn't loud enough. Heh.

It was also one of the best conerts I have been too - the raw primal energy of the Lemmy and the band was like a force of nature, and not the happy, flower-in-the-hair happy hippie nature, either.

Lemmy was a tech for Hendrix but only at one show as I remember, he was playing in Hawkwind back then.

/62 and he still knows how to do it and do it real well.
//Dammit now that song's stuck in my head.

Went to a Motorhead show with a couple of friends a few years ago at Lupo's in Providence, RI. Afterwards, we went down the street to The Glass Slipper to relax a bit. The place was almost empty and close to closing.

In walked Lemmy--clad mostly in black, with white cowboy boots on. I went up to him, said I enjoyed the show, and bought him a Jack & Coke.

/afterwards, my friends and I were all: "This is the greatest day of our lives, Beavis..."

//Happy birthday Lemmy. Keep up the good work.

Party with the Rev. Horton Heat & Lemmy Kilmister on New Years Eve?

Damn.

CaptainFatass "At Jumbo's? You don't say...

It was eight years ago now, damn how time flies.

Maybe they got some pretty ones after I moved or maybe I just always went on OFF nights or something but there were some serious "butter face" lasses there every time I went.

Almost drove by my old apartment when I was in CA a couple weeks ago just to see how much it's changed but decided to go to In-N-Out instead.

Double Double FTW!
