As a cracker-ass-cracker in Texas, I've had some pretty damn good times at various Mexican dances/parties. If you get hammered enough in the right atmosphere, you might even find that you enjoy a little bit of Tejano music.

Hermosillo's a quiet little town. We have violent cities in Mexico, yes: Mexico City, Tijuana, I'd pretty much stay away from the state of Sinaloa pretty fast. But just because there's violence there it doesn't mean that the whole country is on fire.

Yes, I live in a country whose political system is in the shiatter, our Justice Department sucks, yet I chose to stay here, study and try to make something for my country once I graduate. So it aches a bit when someone thrashes my country like so.
