I dunno, will vehicular homicide make my insurance rates go up as much as a DUI?

I answer 'C' to your questionnaire.

/Is this a new Fark daily question.
//And where is 'A' and 'B'?
///Mark 'C' on everything and still pass.

no, not farked. but if for some reason you can't load it, it happened in New Zealand... so, we can't really say that the pigs were stomping her rights - presumably random DD tests are allowed there.

I hope the drunk girl goes away long enough for her designer purses to go out of style. Stupid drunks.

I'm also impressed that, while being dragged, the cop didn't give her the beatdown she most truly deserves.

skinink 2007-12-22 09:10:48 PM
This is a trick question. For a lot of people here on Fark, you wouldn't necessarily need to be facing a breath test to pick c). I'm just pointing out the facts.

flacidbob 2007-12-22 09:14:33 PM
They set these up near my house all the time. The cops see me SO much that they wave and let me go thru. Including the time I was driving back from the state store and beer distributors with so much booze I had to sign release forms.

They just looked and said holy crap that's some party you must be having!! I said yeah I would send them some people over in a few hours. He just laughed and waved me thru. GLad he didn't see the open container LOL

I'm not surprised. This happened in New Zealand, not America. If it happened in America, she'd probably be paralyzed by now and facing 10 charges.

The last time I went through one of those was about 2 years ago... I was scared shiatless. I was so completely trashed that being waved through the checkpoint is the only thing that I can remember between being told that I wasn't walking or talking too well when I was leaving a party (telling a friend's dad to fark himself when he tried to take my keys)and waking up in a pile of clothes on my basement floor. (due to a projectile vomiting incident years ago, I learned to stumble to a familiar place with easy access to a toilet before passing out)

After that, can I have what's left of your TotalFark account?

A) Expose your boobies to distract the officer from noticing you are drunk.
B) Huff gold spray paint to throw off the breathalyzer.
C) Run the officer down.

The self-entitlement, assholish, prickishness just pours off this post. Do you know why people are not suppose to drive drunk? It's because, no matter what you might think when you are drunk, your reaction times are so farked up its not funny.

By the way, you don't drive good when your drunk. I don't give a fark what you say to that point.

Yet here you are, basically gloating the fact that you drive drunk and never got a DUI.

How sad are you. Even got a spot picked out to sleep cause you drink so much you puke on a regular basis.

I just hope that when you do crash and burn, you don't take someone in the car next to you out with you.

Capt.Kirk: The pig was stomping on her right to privacy by stopping her without cause. He got what he deserved.

Really? It looks like he was trying to stop an obviously drunk driver, thereby possibly saving the driver's life and the lives of anyone else that she could of hit (like, say, his). He had probable cause.

But don't let that bother you. All police are obviously evil, because they prevent you from doing anything you damn well please.
Go back into your mom's basement, put on your tinfoil hat, and get back to saying that the evil People's Republic of Amerika is trying to become a police state.

Tahii 2007-12-23 01:43:41 AM
thoughtpol: it happened in New Zealand... so, we can't really say that the pigs were stomping her rights - presumably random DD tests are allowed there.

Yeah they're allowed. I got an email from the police when this happened, and it turns out the officer got a broken leg, and possibly a broken ankle on the opposite leg. Takes a Kiwi to have that sort of injury, and still manage to apprehend the offender, and drive her to the station before getting seen to himself.

I must admit it, our police here in NZ rock.

Really? Show me any case when anything like your idea has happened. Don't believe everything you hear in the movies, and get back under your rock.

I sincerely hope that, when you slam your car into something at 100 MPH. you don't kill anyone else besides yourself.

PeeOnYou: If I ever get pulled over again I'm going to steal the cop's gun and blow his head off. Then drive away like a mad man and crash into a telephone pole. I'll probably still be alive at that point so I'll grab one of the broken wires and that should induce cardiac arrest.

Why don't your start this scenario in reverse?

TeaBagger: If this happened in America she would have been Tasered to death

Really? Show me any time someone has been tazered to death, and healthy. Whenever someone dies after being tazered, they were already stoned out of their minds. Don't believe everything that you see in the movies.

I hope he hits you when he crashes.

I was reading that part out of the article, about how the officer had a farking broken leg and still detained the driver.
Theory A) Driver was so drunk or otherwise semi-conscious that she did what she was told.

Theory B) Driver went "OMG I hit a cop! And a tree!", and panicked, did what she was told.

Theory C) Officer covered driver with firearm and told her to go farking nowhere. (Most likely)

Except that most cops in NZ don't carry guns, and those few that do have them locked up in their cars, not on their persons.

if you have a white person in the car - stop
if you have a (nonwhite) in the car - go
it's pretty easy-stop or go
