The whiskey trick, notwithstanding the shiatty directions, is the only worthwhile. And the whiskey is still drinkable after, if very slightly watered down. I know because upon reading it I immediately scurried off to the kitchen, credit card in hand, to try it, and drank the Scotch when finished.

What am I missing here? It seems as if leaving a small gap would leave the liquid from the top glass all over the surface that the bottom glass is on.

Still, shouldn't sliding the card out make the whiskey spill out the side, rather than up into the top glass. I could understand how this would work if there was a hole in the middle of the card. That way, it's still a contained system.

heh.. i never did understand the rickroll thing. *shrug*

i've been wondering how much to pull the card out.. i guess that with a small enough gap, even though the seal is breached, the surface tension is high enough that it doesn't break free and spill out.
