In response to the widespread rumors - yes, if I had even the rudimentary PS skillz to do it, I would PS Schilling's head and a Baconator in the appropriate places of the picture on the left.

Hey, if that's what you like, why the fark not? The rich don't have to have caviar and three hundred dollar bottles of wine all the time if they would perfer a brew and a hoagie.

Caviar sucks ass. If it didn't cost as much as it did and have the cachet of being a "rich people food", no one would eat that shiat.

So I'll take a good hoagie any damn day that.

I see your point... but c'mon...Busch beer!?! If I had to choose between sobriety and Busch beer...I'd pick sobriety.

I see Steven Spielberg at the Subway here in Santa Monica all the time. Pretty sure he has money to eat anywhere he wants. We're all just people and, occasionally, all we want is a sub.

So he is admitting to being a party-shrill who always votes for the Democratic candidate, solely because he is a Democrat? Yeah for partisan politics!

Are you sure you didn't vote for "Barack Obama" instead of "Barrack Obama"? Because, you see, one was running for the U.S. Senate, and the other is a FIGMENT OF YOUR FARKING IMAGINATION.

I thought the true test of a Democrat was voting for Mondale.

Never got the flak Dukakis got over that photo op. It's as cheesy as any other politician playing soldier, but the whole "OMG, he's wearing a goofy helmet!!111 ROFLSAUCE!!!!11"

He's riding in a tank wearing a standard-issue CVC tanker helmet. What the hell else was he supposed to wear? A "Show Me Your Tits" baseball cap?

Thank God you're one of the few idiots that still thinks the GOP is still viable in Illinois. Even my pro-life, fiscally-conservative, die-hard Republican father (who hasn't voted for a Democratic presidential candidate since Kennedy in 1960), admitted that he would vote for any of the Democratic nominees except for Hillary.

Same here.

Although, if I had Spielberg's money, my sub would probably be a reconditioned Type VIIc. Obviously, there would have to be some equipment upgrades...

It's because he looks like a chinless wonder in that pic.

Also, that really doesn't convey how it looked on film. He looked like a dork playing soldier. It was especially ironic, given his stance on defense.

Besides which, just two years earlier Margaret Thatcher had done pretty much an identical photo opportunity in the UK (using a British tank, of course). Here is that picture:

Here is the Dukakis photo:

img206.imageshack.us

Who do you think looks more badass? The woman who is only wearing a scarf and goggles, or the chinless dork wearing a helmet?

Also, Maggie looks like she is enjoying it. Dukakis has an expression like that plastic Jesus statue from 'Dogma'.

That's because there were more people in 2004, so chances are whoever the 2008 nominee is will also get more votes than any other Democrat ever.

Unless that Kucinich/Sharpton ticket really comes together, anyway.

Polly Ester 2007-12-21 03:55:37 PM
He is also a true Lakers fan and goes to games even during the seasons when they suck.

He seems rather loyal to such arbitrary distinctions as 'home team' and 'political party.'
