Wasn't that Peter Murpy's original band?

I haven't heard the new songs; are they any good?

That being said, there's like...3 Bauhaus songs I still like. The rest are just okay.

/Dark Entries FTW!

The kings of goth hair.

I always thought "Dark Entries" was their best song.

Meh.
Call me when they reunite Tones On Tail.

I'd hate to be that guy, but methinks this is a repeat.

love and rockets was the better related project from bauhaus. but dropping their name won't get nearly the obscurist cred as t.o.t...

Wake me up when The Afghan Whigs get back together..

Anyone hear about a Dali's Car reunion?

How about Japan?

Kurpal 2007-12-18 02:50:16 AM
It must have been quite an incident for them to break up for good.
Well, until they all need money again.
Oh, and just so you know the preferred nomenclature is "Death Rock" and not "Goth." That term came about later.

7thVeil 2007-12-18 08:25:58 AM
The first real album in a quarter century, with added spin that they are "breaking up" - talk about a moot point!

I will, however, give it a listen. I hope it's not like going to see the movie version of a book that you love, and end up regretting it.

If I'd said deathrock someone would have corrected me on that.

Twilight Singers are close enough. Gutter Twins (Dulli and Lanegan) could be phenomenal.

Love & Rockets put on a hell of a show. The last 2 times I saw the reunited Bauhaus, I ended up just watching everyone BUT Peter Murphy.

Nestea Plunge: Bauhaus is one of the greats, anyone born after 1983 has no valid opinion on this.

Huh? They broke up in 83. I would suggest anyone born after 1970 has no valid opinion of this.

Tones On Tail was amazingly good.

L&R were fun, no argument, but imho ToT had more depth.
