(Contact Music) Dumbass Dave Mustaine takes time out from sucking and crying about getting booted out of Metallica by selling a line of coffee. That is pretty metal, if you ask me   (contactmusic.com) divider line 35

It's a lot more metal than having a reality show.

Bah. Who'd have thought the same guy who wrote "Peace Sells" would resort to such shameless moneygrubbing?

/Rust in Peace is still the greatest thrash album of all time, however
//well, one of them

Yeah, remember this quote: "I wanna stay at a street level, so that if I lose an arm or something, I don't have to get used to being a bum again." So much for that...

/go back to the drugs, Dave
//and lose the religion

What would be even more metal would be to open a chain of metal-themed fast food places. Burgers & other sandwiches, maybe tacos, and loud metal. Something a little more upscale than Taco Bell or McD's, more like Moe's or something. People would eat there. I wish someone with money would take this idea and run with it.

CrackCityRocker 2007-12-17 07:30:42 PM
was hoping for Dethklok references. Seriously, if there weren't any, I woulda went on a murderous rampage. It's too obvious.

DETHKLOK!!!!

Submitard takes time away from listening to Nikelback and smoking cloves in front of Hot Topic to write a lame headline.

Yeah, because dying young and being a junkie is so awesome!

Idiot.

Yeah, because getting the boot from Metallica really set his career back. Why, Megadeth have spent the last decade and a half doing nothing but putting out a bunch of uninspired crap since their heyday in the late 80's/early 90's, ever since that Black Albu...oh, wait. Never mind.

Subby = dummy.

That would be my new favorite restaurant. I am deadly serious.

That's Metallica.

Megadeth would be:

I always wondered just how bad of an alcoholic you have to be to get kicked out of a band that is already nicknamed "Alcohollica" because you have "a drinking problem." Good thing he's switched to coffee I guess.

facisto 2007-12-18 12:24:18 PM
He better be calling it "High Speed Dirt." That would be perfect.

I like my coffee black, just like my metal.

I love Megadeth, but I felt a punch in the stomach when I found out Mustaine was a neo-con war-pusher. Oh well, Peace Sells, amirite.

Megadeth > Metallica

Mustaine > Hetfield

Menza > Ulrich

And Hammett couldn't be Friedmans' roadie when Marty was with the band....

Friedman > Hammett - not even close...

He says, "The is the coffee that gets me up in the morning and keeps me shreddin' all day long."

I like Dave and Megadeth, but that quote is ghey.

Speed does not equal great.

I'm not saying Hammett is the best, but when I listen to some of his old solos I think "Man, that was good."
When I listen to some of Friedman's I think "Man, that was fast."

There's a difference.

WTF? No, you are not right. neo-con? war pusher? You deserve to be punched in the stomach...

Whereas I listen to Hammett and think "Could that be any more emotionless?"
When I listen to Friedman, I think "Wow, that's some cool stuff."

Then I listen to Gary Holt, and it sometimes actually makes me laugh - partly out of pure pleasure, but mostly at the hilarity of my own pathetic efforts when compared to the Cat Strangler himself.
