Push polling is the political version of cock blocking.

I'm starting to think Mike Huckabee's a real sonuvabiatch.

But he's so folksy! And he plays bass guitar! Surely he's not a slimeball like the others?

Phil Moskowitz 2007-12-16 01:31:06 PM
Everyone shiats on John McCain because he's a doormat. Hell I even made a few crank calls calling him a "doody head"

Stop senior citizen abuse. It's a serious problem, people.

Anybody else getting a kick out of the Republican Party turning on itself? Do they really think their voter base is going to form up behind one guy or the other? If I were Hillary, I'd think its time to start throwing some cash in Ron Paul's direction to really fark them up.

No shame in being an third party/split party candidate independent, Ron! Come on, split that Republican Party! ;)

Yeah, but Ron Paul realizes that it's better to support a Republican that he dislikes rather than split the vote and hand the election to a Democrat.

On the New Hampshire polls, Romney is at 32% and peaked, Guillani is is 17% and declining, Mccain is 19% and rapidly going upharkabee is is at 11% and rapidly going up. Only thing I can think of is trying to nail possible competition in that state.

/Why is he always the one to get swiftboated?
//Visiting some fundamentalist university might help.

It took you THIS long to realize this?

The last eight years of a bible-thumping clinical retard in the Oval Office was plenty for the rest of my life. There is absolutely no scenario imaginable that would get me to ever vote for Mike Huckabee. Any ordained minister of any religion is immediately disqualified in my book.

I agree with that sentiment on many, many levels.

Attacking McCain? Why bother?

lolmadillo 2007-12-16 02:43:10 PM
I'm sure one of his advisers has told him "Sir, we'll let you have you ethics back once you're president"

Craptastic 2007-12-16 02:49:53 PM
rush_limbaugh_sent_me: I can see liberals supporting a devout Muslim as president. They seem real fond of the Muslims. I never heard them attack the Muslim fundamentalists that murder innocent people like they attack the harmless Christian "fundies" that simply think abortion is unethical. When you hate a pro-lifer more than a terrorist, you have some issues. :)

Which candidate is a devout Muslim, dicksmack?

bronyaur1 [TotalFark] 2007-12-16 02:55:24 PM
But a good Christian minister would NEVER do something unethical like this, now would he?

Necrosis 2007-12-16 03:17:17 PM
rush_limbaugh_sent_me - Troll score 2/10, try harder.

It's hard to understand why McCain is still in the race, maybe getting fed at campaign events is his retirement plan. On the other hand, in many ways he is still a strong candidate, at least on paper. If he stays on the side and lets the top candidates kill each other, he could sneak back up in the end.

Desterion 2007-12-16 03:40:27 PM
I think we can let it slide against huckabee. He's doing it for the good of the country.

And as usual, party loyalty trumps everything. This is why the GOP is not taking Ron Paul seriously. It doesn't matter how much money or support he has, it doesn't matter that much of what he speaks about is important to millions of Americans. They know he will not try to run third party. He can be safely ignored, and so can his ideas.

I'm no fan of the current administration, but I'd still rather see a Republican (preferably Ron Paul) in office than a Democrat (save Biden).

Even if that means that they would continue the policies of the current administration? Do you really think that a democrat could be that much worse?

I didn't say they'd be worse. It's hard to get much worse than this administration. I'd still prefer a Republican prez, if only to ensure gridlock. Something tells me the next Republican might be willing to compromise a little.

FTFA: "We don't want this kind of campaigning because it violates the spirit of our campaign. I don't want to become president because I disabled the other candidates, I want to become president because I am the best candidate."

No, that's why you brought Chuck Norris on board. Go Chuck!

FunkOut [TotalFark] 2007-12-16 04:35:42 PM
Poor John McCain. He needs to act a little more macho. And then get a team together, say, a crazy pilot, a good-looking sammer, and a muscular, cranky black dude with a mohawk and beard. Then they could take out Chuck Norris, leaving Huckabee defenceless.

Democrats have a long history of fighting amongst themselves. Even with Democratic control of both houses of Congress and the Presidency, there will still be considerable amounts of gridlock.

laugh everytime when liberals say Bush is a "bible thumper". I don't see that guy quoting scripture from the BIble all the time and trying to convert gay liberals to Christianity. I think this speaks to the intolerance that liberals have for Christians in general if they are classifyig Bush as a "bible thumper" that tries to impose his religion on them. I don't see any liberals being forced to attend their local Baptist church at gunpoint by Bush. I'm curious...is it possible to be a Christian at all without being a Bible Thumper as it seems liberals think all Christians = bible thumpers? I'm pretty the answer is Christians that don't support abortion and oppose gay marriage are not the bible thumping "fundies". That is at the core of the liberal's HATE of conservative Christians...they are pro-life and anti-gay marriage. :)

i hate bush cuz he supports amnesty for illegals

I'm sure there's a way to blame this on Ron Paul.

Wow, everyone push polls John McCain. Does he have a "Push Poll Me" sign taped to his back or something?

/Ya know, that would make a great photoshop.
