Am I the only one who finds that kinda freaky?

No pity here. The stupid coont knew her boyfriend was abusing her child. I guarantee it. She let him kill her son, and people like that should have their reproductive organs forcibly stripped from their bodies.

It would be kinda freaky if she kept the ashes in a locket, and she wore said locket while having crazed make up sex with the guy that killed her son, and the locket jerked around wildly during, hitting him, in what could be seen as one last effort to fight him off from beyond the grave, but that only turned them on more, and they wrote Penthouse about it and it became a new fetish, and people started selling fake murdered child ashes lockets, and the two of them went on TV to try to stop people from making what they created commercial and fake.
That'd be kinda creepy.

But what's really creepy would be... oh crap! Hey Nascar. No, we were just talking about... uh... stamps! I love stamps.

If you care enough to carry around your dead son's ashes for 8 months, I would think you'd care enough not to leave them in the car.

I find myself unable to make witty comments about this particular "missing ashes" Fark story. The fact that the young boy was beaten to death places this beyond the realm of humor. Sorry.

Kids, remember: If you're going to die, please arrange to get eaten by a parakeet or sucked into a tuba. Give us something to work with here.

I prefer to keep them in the fridge, defrosting them takes too long. You just have to use them quickly!

crazyemi: Am I the only one who finds that kinda freaky?

My aunt had her husband's ashes placed in a beerstein (sp?), which was ironic since he died because of alcoholism. It was brass, and was extremely heavy. For about a year or so two she hauled that damn thing with where ever she went. She brought "Uncle Dave" to Christmas at my mom's house, and displayed him prominently. That jerk put her through h.ell with his issues, but keeping "him" with her like that helped her mourn. At least with a 4 year old, he was pretty innocent. So, no, given the circumstances, I don't think that's kind of freaky.

This one I do have a heart about. Give the poor girl her baby's ashes back. They might try to sell it though.

I can concur. I know for a fact she knew about the boyfriend beating her child. And like usual, did nothing about it. But you also have to keep in mind it's better beaten than dead (normally they don't die). She had two choices. Try to escape and get them both killed, or do her best to try to appease him enough so he wouldn't kill them. Sadly, this kid died. Abusive guys really aren't the ones to fark with.

Horrible situation all around.

I'm intrigued, but when the locket hits the abusive boyfriend, does it break open and then the mother licks the ashes off of the boyfriend's chest? Cause that'd be really hot, you know.

CaptainFatass 2007-12-16 03:18:39 AM
The proper thing to do in this situation is to take the ashes, mix them with cold cream, and put on a minstrel show.

This woman screwed up. Big time. She didn't protect her child, which is her first job as a mother.

But she became a mother when she was barely aware of what a relationship involves in the first place.

She probably knows that. And now she'll never be able to have the boy's forgiveness for screwing up his life.

Balke 2007-12-16 05:48:42 AM
I'm curious to know how long the ex-boyfriend has been in jail. The article says that he has a "status hearing" next week. What does that mean? When is the actual trial? The kid was killed 8 months ago. What happened to the constitutional right to a speedy trial? Did the police investigation take so long that the boyfriend was only arrested recently?

/seriously not trolling

Too true. My mother didn't leave my former step-father until she had the means to move out of state and go in to hiding, she was that terrified of him. if not for current husband taking her out of that situation she might still be with that bastard. Or I might be in prison.
