Also, I think the real "problem" here, if it is a problem, is that due to porn being socially unacceptable, society can't communicate about it. If a mainstream hollywood movie is really good, everyone tells their friends and family about it and newspapers and tv shows review it and word spreads everywhere.

If a porn movie were really good, who would know? Nobody's going to tell their mother or their sister about it, not many people would tell their friends about it because it's not socially acceptable to talk about.
