No wonder. Kashmir is one of their best songs.

Led Zeppelin. Is there anything they can't do?

/besides reggae.

I've just recently been listening to the 60s/70s (and currentish) band Uriah Heep (which wikipedia mentions as one of the precursors to the heavy metal genre) - some of the lyrics are incredibly positive. "Been stealin' when I should've been buying" and "Easy living, and I've been forgiven, since you've taken your place in my heart."

FWIW. Neat article.

I thought Wyld Stallyns was the band that would lead us to world peace and ultimate truth.

50% of Bonham's DNA was there.

From the midnight sun, where the hot springs flow

Wonder if these muslim heavy metal fans ever heard this little ditty, brought to you by S.O.D. (Stormtroopers Of Death)...

"fark the middle east
There's too many problems
They just get in the way
We sure could live without them
They hijack our planes
They raise our oil prices
We'll kill them all and have a ball
And end their farkin' crisis
BEIRUT, LEBANON-Won't exist once we're done
LIBYA, IRAN-We'll flush the bastards down the can
SYRIANS and SHIITES-Crush their faces with our might
Then Israel and Egypt can live in peace without these dicks"

I thought the jews would be the ones into Led. She's buying a stairway to heaven. There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold
And she's buying a stairway to heaven
And when she gets there she knows if the stores are closed
With a word she can get what she came for

Maybe the Led will bring peace to the middle east.

I was pretty positive that Led Zepplin was more involved with Aleistair Crowleye's Ordo Temple Orientis, or was it Golden Dawn? I can't keep this crazy shiat straight.

You'd think, that you, having apparently attended TWO colleges, would have learned to use the internets to do some research before you post. If you had, you would have learned that one of the founding members of S.O.D. is a Mr. Scott Ian, also known as Scott Ian Rosenfeld, of Jewish descent. So, yeah, there goes your reactionary post editing.

Here's a band-aid for that skinned knee of yours. Maybe the scab will thicken your skin.
