Does he have that one song about urban crime and girls? Or is he the one that sings about the gold chains and rims? I always get those two artists confused.

How original. Yet another black kid wearing cool dark sunglasses and gold chains. Do they just stamp these losers out of a factory or something? And what's with the names? Are they so terrified of being themselves that they have to try to be someone they're not?

Get this little prick in a back alley alone and we'll see just how bad assed he is.

i wonder how THAT conversation went...

Pound Puppy: "My guts hert."
Doctor: "You need an immediate appendectomy"
Pound Puppy: "But i gotta rap, let's do it in a couple weeks"
Doctor: "You'll be dead by Saturday"
Pound Puppy: "Perhaps you weren't listening to me sir!"
Doctor: "What do i know, i'm just a doctor!"

Actually it's platinum now, but I'm sure you don't care. Also, the kid has been rapping since 6 or something. He appeared in concert with Snoop Dog before he was ten, Snoop christened him "Lil' Bow Wow". He doesn't really try and convey a "badass" attitude either, he knows his audience is teen girls and he caters to them. Not exactly the cookie cutter thug wannabe you're thinking of, again I'm sure the truth has no bearing on your rant. Sure he has big shades and a chain, but that's the rapper uniform. He is working after all.

I think it is generally encouraged.

Are there any black farkers? Or just racist white ones?

Just because you don't like a genre of music doesn't give you an excuse to go to every black or rap related thread and hate pointlessly.

Sure, call him an idiot for not getting his appendix removed, that's fair, but the second you start to associate it with the fact that he is a rapper or is black equates you to prejudice, it's as simple as that.

Being black has nothing to do with hating a horrible genre of music that has done nothing but perpetuate crime. I hate the Beasty Boys and Eminem too. Black rappers just glorify the stereotypes of blacks that civil rights leaders fought hard to remove.

On a lighter note, I had mine removed yesterday at 1 in the morning. There is no way in hell he's gonna continue a tour, he'll be in so much pain, his "gangsta" ass is going to be crying like a girl.

archerjoe 2007-12-12 07:02:38 PM
Vanilla Ice and K-Fed are ridiculed with more venom than any thin-skinned black rapper. There's no love saved for Britney (in the Pop genre), either. The rap genre gets about as much respect as square dancing, maybe even less.

Why? Rap that's on the radio, TV or neighbor kid's car stereo is like pro-wrestling. Eventually people grow up and realize just how farking stupid it really is.

/Wow, do you really have 22 inch rims?
//I have 26 inch rims on my bicycle.

So here's the thing--a lot of people like to talk about how lazy/lackadaisical/whatever modern artists are.
So now we're presented with a performer so dedicated to his art that he's willing to hold off on surgery for what i'd imagine must be an incredibly painful affliction just to make sure the show goes on.

And what do you do? bust his chops.

Nice double standard there, guys.

screw that. cancel the gigs, reschedule, get surgery, and come back stronger than ever. would you rather go to a concert to a guy performing in pain, or a guy performing in good health?

Appendicitis is treated nonsurgically in Europe fairly routinely. It's not such a bad decision.

Oh, and rap sucks.
