You are playing your ass off concentrating on keeping the beat and some dickhead hits you with a bottle, it farks up the bands beat, and the minute you retaliate, you (the guitar player) are paying everyones lawyer fees for someone else instigating the problem.

He's an actor. He has pretty much said so himself. He found a way to make lots of money and pull in hot women. I would call that far from pathetic.

It's not the money, it's the status. Rock stars are alphas, even if they aren't roid raging muscle men. Chicks dig guys who do whatever the hell they want. Also, guys who can play music/do artsy stuff appear to have time and resources to spare, again... status.

I went to a manson show years ago at the Georgia Theater in athens when manson threw him mic stand and hit the drummer in the head with the base near the end of the show. Split his head open like a cantaloupe but he kept playing till he saw his blood dripping onto the drums.

I saw Manson at Ozzfest a few years back and he puts on an INCREDIBLE show. I knew maybe three songs but enjoyed his entire performance.
