Star Trek Geeks mate less often than Vulcans

And here you all were thinking it was vaccinations that were causing higher autism rates in the current crop of children.

You really don't want to be near a geek during their Pon Farr either.

Wow, that's the kind of thing that will get your heart pumping and your techtosterone flowing!

/A place where "I'd solder-reflow your PCB!" might actually be a usefull pickup line.

So, unless I'm gay, I have to hope that any woman that I might be interested in could be bothered to look up my profile?

I got my hopes up, and they were nuked when I saw that you have to pay to join this site. Lame.

/Where's the free geek dating?

MisterRPG 2007-09-25 11:21:12 AM
On other dating sites "a lot of the profiles are aimed at looking super cool, being very good looking and that's not what most geeks are about."

This is why geeks laugh at the world, and coincidentally why the world laughs at geeks.

I think there are a lot of pretty girls who would love to be with a Geek

/as soon as their company goes public

Since when? I've used it and never had to pay...

/Sadly the only geeky girls in my area are fat "wiccan" chicks...

I really hope that in my next life I'm reincarnated as a hot chick with a thing for geeky guys. That would be the life.

DemonEater 2007-09-25 01:54:51 PM
Hah. This site is going to have an even MORE skewed M:F ratio than normal internet dating sites.

Sausage-fest extraordinare.

darkmatterhari 2007-09-25 02:07:16 PM
So, is this guy planning to watch ALL episodes in chronological order of the Star Trek timeline? Because that would make following plot lines interesting.

/Currently watching Next Gen in entirety, in chronological order. DS9 on the agenda next.

But, have you ever tried going out with one of them? Know several people that fall into that category, a majority of them are cool as hell.

/But it's ok if that's not your cup of tea.

Wish that site were around back before I was married.

/Of course, there was no Internet back before I was married.

simpsonfan 2007-09-25 09:49:59 PM
Chronological order. But is it production order, air date order (NOT always the same) or the order in which they occured in overall time. Episodes involving time travel would probably go by the time period when the episode started. Animated included?

You know your life sucks when you look at a dating site for self-proclaimed geeks and realize that they are cooler and better looking than you are.
